Hi all -- AMAZING NEWS!! The embassy called my fiance and gave us a date 4 weeks away for our interview!! This is for a k1 interview. My fiance also got them to email the letter because last time when they sent it to my house it was late and we missed our interview!

Hi! Congrats thats exciting! Hope everything goes well for you inshallah! What time of the day did they call you and was it to your house phone in Yemen?

They called my fiance's cell phone in Yemen. They said they were sending a letter in the mail to my address in the USA too. I don't know what time it was when they called but it was 2 am EST here on the east coast. So it was 9 am?

Welcome Basem! It will be 8-12 months until your case is approved and sent to the embassy and the 8 months to get an appointment. Hopefully the embassy will not close.

Thanks for the reply. When you say an appointment, do you mean the interview in yemen?
