Hi all -- AMAZING NEWS!! The embassy called my fiance and gave us a date 4 weeks away for our interview!! This is for a k1 interview. My fiance also got them to email the letter because last time when they sent it to my house it was late and we missed our interview!

Hey guys, I'm hoping someone here who is more familiar can help me with this. My embassy in Amman, like yours, requires me to send my papers through e-mail. Should I be concerned that I am passed the 30 day mark or is it common for our countries to wait longer for the e-mail to be opened and files to appear on their record.

Thanks so much, I know I'm off topic here but I couldn't find many from the Middle East in the same situation anywhere else.

Hi, so you are still in the NVC stage. NVC reviews your case as they receive not according to your country. The only time they take into consideration of your country is when it comes to the interview, because only then they are awaiting slots from each consulate. But I think I've noticed that NVC has been slowing down when it comes to electronic processing. However don't worry too much they'll review hopefully soon and I'm sure in your country you won't have to wait long for an interview. Good luck!

So you didn't get an appointment for August... That's really annoying. When are they gonna start scheduling appointments for people?
