So does that only mean people who need an interview appointment or everybody in general will not get an appointment until June? I am wondering because i was under AP but my case was reviewed on April 24 and they replied back saying when an appointment is available they will let me know.

I got the same email on April 10 but I didn't get an appointment yet. Insha'allah we all get good news soon. As for the appointment scheduling for March, April and June they are focusing on old cases like administrative processing. My family will be in AP for a year in two weeks. So I'm praying for a call soon.

First they say they're not accepting new appointments for March, April, and May. Now it's June as well. But it's good that they're going over old cases, because it's not fair for the people that have been on hold for years or that have been on ap for awhile. Faithalba and antisier I hope they call you guys soon for visa pick up inshallah.

I just got this email.

United States Embassy, Sanaa, Yemen

Security Message for U.S. Citizens: Consular Section Closed for Services

May 6, 2014

Due to recent attacks against Western interests in Yemen, the U.S. Embassy in Sanaa is closed for consular services on May 6, 2014. The Department has been apprised of information that, out of an abundance of caution and care for our employees and others who may be visiting the Embassy, indicates we should institute these precautionary steps. It is possible we may have additional days of closings as well, depending on our analysis.

This is the same thing that happened last year. First it was only supposed to be for a number of days and then it ended up being a whole month. There's nothing left to do but to wait and be patient.

Yes and I'm still waiting for their response.

What kind of address did you give them? Just city and country? For phone numbers did you give cell or home?

When did they request them from y?
