I've never tracked his greencard. I just went with my husband words, when they said two to three month. It's gonna take at least two month for his green card

Hi Antiseir, I was just wondering what was the reason that your husband was put under administrative processing after his visa interview? Cuz my husband has been under AP for 4 months now but its becuz they said we needed a new AOS we sent in a new one exactly a month after my husbands appointment still no reply to this day, they jus say a consular officer hasn't reviewed our case ?

The consular officer said everything was good and we weren't asked for anything else and he copied all our documents so we wouldn't have to bring them when we get a call from the embassy to drop off the passports. He said it would take around 3 months but who knows he said. The embassy does what ever they please. It's been 10 months and no call yet.

Does anyone know what is an alien number

An alien number is the number they give you when your a legal permanent resident aka LPR. So when you enter the US you'll have the visa stamp in your passport with that on it which is called the registration number and you'll get a green card with that number on it.

So is it normal to get assigned an alien number when filing an i129f. I after I filed an i130 for my husband I also filed an i129f for my husband and a little while after i submitted the i129f i got an email saying my alien number has changed or something along those lines. Hey everyone,

I'm marrying a Yemeni citizen and I've been informed by many, many, many people not to go through Yemen. He's only lived in Yemen for about a month. He used to live in the UAE before he went off to college in Malaysia, but his only citizenship is Yemeni and he couldn't go back to the UAE because they're basically kicking all the Yemenis out. He wants to come to the States, and I haven't filed for the fiance visa because I've been told Yemen will take forever, and if he could get a residency somewhere else to go through another country, like Turkey or UAE. What are your thoughts? Going crrrrraaaazzzzyyyy!
