The U.S. embassy in Yemen is the worst embassy in the world. They are incompetent, unpredictable, untruthful and completely lazy. They truly yank the happiness away from receiving the visa because everyone is just so relieved to be done with them.

masha allah, I really like us embassy in Yemen, they called me 2 minutes ago and they ask me to go there and bring my ID on 29 Jan.

I am really so happy ^__^

blissful - its cuz ur passport was already in the embassy. also i hope u have a safe trip together.

sami- sounds like there right on time before ur trip. do they have ur passport already and did they check ur case status?

h93- when he goes on sunday what if they dont let him in? well if u guys live in sanaa its easy for u.

We don't live close at all. It's about a 3-5 hour drive. But it's only a day earlier than his rescheduled appointment. If they don't let him in, no biggie. We just want to take all precautions.

lets hope they call my husband soon and get good news like everyone else

My wife got a call today from the embassy that her passport is ready and to come get it Sunday

congrats when was the pick up date originally or did u not have one yet

We don't live close at all. It's about a 3-5 hour drive. But it's only a day earlier than his rescheduled appointment. If they don't let him in, no biggie. We just want to take all precautions.

its funny cuz the embassy keeps saying our case is waiting for an availble appointment to be scheduled but its been a month abd they havnt figured out what to di with our case. they tokd my congresslady that they are going to try to expeidete our case as soon as possible but however some adminidistrative processong cant be expeideted ..so i didnt now if they r going to expeidete it or not cuz of my pregnancy so my husnand can be tgere during the delivery.

IF i send many emails to embassy to ask update my case. it will affect on my visa, or not?

CAN you send to me a simple email.

I want to be ready .when my case fowroad to embassy and take a long process.

Dream Come- idk im worried boyt it myself but i doubt that sending the embassy emails will effect ur visa but im kinda worried that wverytime i rmail them they send my file right underneath the others again but u never know wat they do and how they r handeling our cases.

I just read and prepared everything they required then I asked everybody my mother & wife to pray for me

who knows? we might dislike something and it would be better

and dont forget " kull takhira fiha kheer" inshaallah
