Ok i am confused, why someone needs a co-sponsor? If the NVC approved all the submitted document and approved I864, why would the embassy ask for a co-sponsor?

Also somewhere here it was mentioned if you have dependents? what is defined as dependent, your children?

I have alhamdulilah strong salary, and i am alhamdulilah 5 times higher than poverty line as far as income is concerned. However, i have my parents listed as dependent but that doesn't make that much of a difference in taxes. I hope that is not an issue.

I am filling for my wife, who is in Yemen.

Also does it really takes 2 weeks for issuing a visa?

sorry my interview is coming up in 2 weeks and i need to know way ahead of time.

Agreed, the beneficiary should not give the impression that he knows nothing about the sponsor and should have the sponsor's info at the time of the interview, i.e. birth certificate.

Please guys help us out and tell us how these interviews go and what types of questions were asked.

ok I am sorry I didn't sleep yesterday so I'll try to make it simple,

anything they asked for , you gona have to bring it,

my wife told me they didn't check them out Throughly but still, you need to submit them.

and they asked her about how many brothers and sisters I have and whats there names . they asked her how times we travelled together" cuz we went to dif. countries together", so each case is different Story .

and at the end she said here we go and see you in two weeks for your visa !!! That's it...

No worried questions no questions about the birthdays no questions about the names nothing , it was so simple

Interviews go smoothly for women, its the men they are usually harder on. No matter how much evidence you bring with you. If a guy gets his visa from the first interview, they should consider themselves very lucky.

no this was the first interview for her

and there is no other interviews, in two weeks she can go to pick up the visa only.

and in your case I can guarantee you that your husband will not get the visa, I am sorry to say that , but this is the truth , one of my friends Actually works in the embassy, And he told me that it's required to know your sponsor ( required )

so I think you need to find a way,

In my case my wife knows the family of the sponsor so even if they asked her, she knows them good to answer any question,

I am not yelling you to lie , but lie or not the i-864 will be rejected because the guy is not even from yemen , i mean think about !!! how can you sponsor some one if you don't know him!!!
