That's for my EAD... AP is still in "initial review" and Green Card is RFE response review

Took them awhile for your EAD/AP! Good news is you will likely get a combo card including AP since mine still says initial review but came as a combo card. I returned to Canada to visit on it already so it's good to use :)

Separate binders or folders for each K1 and after marriage supporting docs for easy access. Bring ALL paperwork available as you'll be surprised as what the IO will ask.

Good luck!

I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK tomorrow! I'm sure it will be a piece of cake.

What we did with all our paperwork was to put the "required" items in an expandable folder with pockets, in order of what they are listed on the interview letter. All other back-up information was contained in separate binder that we carried with us as well. Didn't need any of it, but felt better having it all there.

Just checked in again today, and it says AP was approved on the 18th, and the EAD is in card production as of today (but AP is not) LOL... I'll just assume that I'll probably get a combo card as well :)

Jordan is travelling back to Canada today. I know his family will be thrilled to see him again. I fly up Friday and we start the drive back with his things on Sunday. He'll finally have all his things moved down here. We'll be crossing at Sumas, hope it all goes smoothly.

Thinking positive thoughs for VeeNDee today.

Well, after a long wait (we got there super early for our 10:30 appointment and they wouldn't let us in until 10, and then didn't call us up until 11:30) we finally had our interview today. We got off to a bit of a shaky start when he started asking me to detail the exact days when we'd first met and how long we'd stayed with each other. I can't recall the exact date of our second meeting -it was over a year ago! My husband, bless him, had the brilliant reminder to get me to pull out the i-129 package copy I'd taken with us that had a listing of all our meeting dates and give it to him. It went uphill from there and in the end we were approved!!! He gave us a paper with info for ROC and when we got home I checked the status of AOS and it said card document/production.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! No more paperwork for a long time!

So, I was just wondering, the officer told us we were approved pending approval of his superior and logging into USCIS put us at Card document production and said it would be here in 30 days.

I just checked it again and now it has backtracked to decision instead and says the following:

"On April 23, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."

Why did it change? What is ADIT processing????
