Just found this thread. Our interview was also today in San Francisco. Guard were great, our interview was at 10:00 this morning. We took the ferry in, arrived plenty early.

Asked a few questions, but didn't ask to see a single piece of evidence. No photos, nothing. In the end he said we could add some stuff to our file towards the ROC later, so I did, added tax return, bank statements, etc.

Said he just had to take one last look through the paperwork but that we were basically approved and he would hopefully finish it all today. But gave us the paper that says 'being held for review' which he explained was because he had a bit more paperwork to finish on it. But he went through telling us that it's a 2 year green card, that we'll need to remove contingencies, etc. So I do believe we were approved. Status still not updated tonight, so I hope that it doesn't mean he found something, but rather that he just didn't quite finish it this afternoon...

Reserving wild enthusiasm until the USCIS website is updated!

But had a great experience, guards were nice, our interview was very nice. He talked fast, and my wife sometimes stumbled understanding exactly what she was being asked, but she did great!

Was so nervous, all you read are horror stories, but now it's clear, if your relationship is real, you have absolutely nothing to fear.

So now just the wait for the physical green card.

He did note in the computer that just a few days ago our EAD and AP were approved and mailed on March 29th, so they'll probably show up tomorrow :)

My EAD card (combo EAD and AP) came yesterday. USPS made me nervous though, the tracking status was delivered but it was nowhere to be seen, thankfully the delivery guy pulled up a couple of hours later.

Now just to wait for my interview on the 2nd of May, and that's the last hoop to jump through, immigration wise anyway.

Now to get my SSN and drivers license sorted out. Such a relief that things are moving along.

Hi January Filers,

just found this thread....Yayy, things are progressing.

I have a question: We adjusted from K1 visa, NOA1 on 01/08, Biometrics on 01/29, EAD/AP received 03/08.

AOS still lists as accepted.

Does that mean no RFE and no interview for us? Seems like most of you with interviews got their notice shortly after Biometrics.

Thanks for the feedback, and speedy AOS to all of you!

Looking forward to hearing the details...

Of course we had with us every piece of paper ever associated with this whole process with us. We carried one folder with everything that was on the interview letter check list and then we had a back up folder with everything else...just in case (totally useless haha)

He had our entire file on the desk which I'm think included everything we've ever sent in or supplied up to this point.

So all he asked for during the interview was our ID's, which we both gave him our passports. He then returned our original Marriage Certificate that I had sent with the package.

After he told us we were going to be approved, he then asked for what else we want to show him. I was a bit baffled by this but after reading Mogambi's post, it makes sense. He wanted to add the stuff to our file for when we file for ROC.

I showed him wedding photos, reception receipts and our invitation. A stack of photos spanning our entire relationship (about 20) and he looked at all of them (making cracks about Carnival's woes when looking at our cruise pics). I then presented him with the financial stuff (no joint accounts since we could not add him without a CA DL) but I did show car insurance in both our names, all the beneficiary stuff, the documents adding him to my health insurance and any bill he had sent to him at our address, etc. He looked at all of it, made copies of the stuff we wanted back and put it all in the file.

That was it! Hope this helps

Jordan's is supposed to arrive today. Only shows this status for the EAD. I'll let you know if a combo card shows up.

Questions....Do you have to be home to sign for it? Or is it just delivered with the mail?

YAY Grats!! How did you know it was a combo card- where did it say? Also did your AP status update??

The AP status updated only once to say it was approved. Never changed to card production, sent, etc. EAD status updated every step.

I had my neighbor, who is picking up my mail at my old house, open it and read it. The card says Employment Authorization but on the bottom is a statement that says something like "This card is also used as Advance Parole I-512..." My neighbor is 83 so I'm only quoting what he was able to read. ;-) and what I can remember.

You said your AP status updated to approved-when did that happen? Today? I am just wondering since we are theoretically supposed to get ours tomorrow and it still says initial review. Maybe it updates once the EAD is shown as delivered?

It updated the same day (I think on the 29th) as the EAD with
