I sent my AOS and EAD application to Chicago lockbox 11 days ago via certified mail and return receipt request and I have received nothing as of today. Not even return receipt confirming that they got it. I looked at lots of people's timelines and lots of them got NOA1 after a week or so. Am I being too impatient? Or should I start to worry that my package is lost?

10/27/06 Mailed I-485 and I765 to Chicago

11/07/06 Checks cashed

11/09/06 Received NOA1 for both EAD and AOS in the mail

11/13/06 Received a letter for Biometrics appointment

11/15/06 Received e-mail that RFE has been mailed yesterday

11/21/06 Biometrics appointment

12/04/06 Sent RFE back

12/08/06 RFE accepted in Lee's Summit - USPS confirmation

12/12/06 RFE recorded on file by USCIS

Did you check your receipt number for your post on the USPS site? That will at least let you know if they have it. It took nearly two weeks after USCIS received our paperwork to actually say that they had it and just as long for them to cash the cheques.

3-14-2009 Received I-751 back because they can't read

3-16-2009 Re-Sent I-751

3-17-2009 Received by Vermont

Waiting and watching the calendar flip ever so over closer to 4-2-2009 (When my 2 yr GC expires) . . .

4-2-2009 Received I-751 back AGAIN! Oh and my GC expired today.

4-3-2009 Re-Sent I-751

4-4-2009 Received by Vermont

4-6-2009 Date of NOA-1 Extension Letter (Rec'd 4/13/09)

if you sent it by UPS you can check the whereabouts online..

they should of given you a receipt at the post office have a look for a number an see if you can track it...

i sent mine express mail next day delivery...

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

Thank you both, I just checked on USPS web site and it was delivered to Chicago lockbox on October 30. I guess I just have to wait to hear from them.

the same thing happened to me, i didn't get noa's until after the biometrics appointment came... like around 16 days or so i think... shouldn't be much longer for you i hope... good luck :)
