Hi People from Visa Journey ,

Just a quick question !! I have papers all over and trying to figure it out if should i send in our ( first ) file for the K1

Our originals ( such a birth certificate, cards records ..) Will the people in the USA want to see ORIGINALS or can we just

attached copies ?? PLEASE I WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL if You who have gone through this already send me your experiences

You can send scans/photocopies of things like birth certificates and such, but know that they may request originals if they feel the need to.

if it requires the petitioner or beneficiary's signature - make sure that's original.

anything else ? a photocopy is sufficient.

sending a divorce decree? a photocopy of the certified copy is sufficient, but it must show the seal or the stamp in the photocopy.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

While you're making copies go ahead and make 2. Later on you will send your love an exact duplicate package of everything you are sending in now. And yes, they have the right to request to see the original document layer but you can send copies in now. Unless, like was already said, it's a form with a signature. Good luck.

IMPORTANT QUESTION for ALL the Visa Journey Followers !!

Me and My Fiance have filed our petition the last week of January 2013,Few Days after we got an I-797C notification saying that they got our file and all was fine.

After almost 6 MONTHS waiting ( now almost July 2013) My Fiance who is my petitioner got ANOTHER I- 797C notification saying that our case has been transfered to

TEXAS because they have the jurisdiction over our case. We started with VERMONT ...and NOW our papers are going to TEXAS??

Please, Has any of you had to go through something like this ??

I would appreciate your experiences or knowledge about this situation !

THANK YOU GUYS !
