Hey there! Last Friday I received the ASC appointment notice for tomorrow. The only problem was that the paper was torn in half. The bar codes on it haven't been damaged. Since it says that I have to bring the notice to the appointment, I called USCIS and they told me to 'bring the paper the way it is at the time scheduled and they will tell you what to do' . I live 3 hours away from the ASC so I wouldn't want to be turned away (the agent didn't seem to care when I explained that). Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any input will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

I would still show up to the appointment regardless of the torn paper. At the appointment the most they do with the paper besides from checking the appointment date and verifying the biographic information with your identification, is to stamped, date and initial the paper that you have done your biometrics. Therefore,I wouldn't put too much empahsis on the torn paper. Just remember to bring your identification and the paper of course. Good luck!
