NVC Trouble, and timing??? please help!!!

Thank you in advance for any information that you may offer. I got our I 797 and said our petition has been forwarded to the appropiate consulate. Now, the date was Dec. 31 for the hard copy of NOA 2. Now according to the ST. Lukes Medical web site it says that a "hard copy" from NVC and MNL number ""IS REQUIRED"" TO schedule a medical.,.,I know I can probably get the MNL number on the phone next week.,.,..,but I need the "hard copy".,., can anyone, please offer and information on getting this "hard copy" from NVC.,.,.,or an approximate amount of time if my NOA 2 was 12-31-2012.,.,. please, advice and information is really needed!

It will be forwarded to the NVC, don't be mistaken, everything goes through the NVC before going to the consulate. I had the same case but when I called NVC, they told me it always comes here before going to appropriate consulate. I got my NOA2 hard copy within 5-6 business days. You have to wait till 30 days before you can contact your center to ask where the NOA2 is. Also, I believe you will get a letter from NVC when they forwarded to your consulate. I called the NVC first day I got the hard copy but my case was not in the system and they agent told me to keep calling(he even said you can call on a daily basis). I called a week after and NVC told me that case was forwarded to the consulate. I used a technique from VS (type dhl tracking in search) to see if they delivered my packet to the consulate. After that, I got a e-mail from the consulate for fiance's interview. It is the holiday season, the mail is a bit slow, you are almost done, just a little bit more. Also when you call the NVC(see guides for #), have them update you and your fiance's e-mail, as my fiance's packets for interview came via email. Anyways, you will get it soon.

You only need the I-797 hard copy and MNL case number to move forward. No need for appointment for medical, it's a first-come first-served basis provided you've made the visa fee payment. The NVC completion letter will be sent to you as soon as they're done processing your case via post mail then forwarded to Manila consulate.

Also please refrain from using the comma and period alternately, you're making it hard to understand your inquiry.

That will be all up to NVC, it took them 3 weeks to finally complete our case and forwarded to Manila Consulate and another week to get the hard copy but others were completed just few days or were longer than ours.

They've only asked NOA2 from Mike and it was last Oct unless it changed recently then you have to wait for the NVC letter then

Edit: Mah bad, Mike said they've asked for NVC letter and NOA2. That said, you have to wait for them to send you the hard copy but you could go ahead and pay the visa fee and schedule the interview once you have the MNL case number.

my suggestions:

1. you call into NVC daily , ask for the MNL casefile number.

2. once you have the MNL casefile #, email the # to yer lass

3. yer lass gets ONLINE at the Manila IV website, and schedules an appointment using her MNL #.

4. once she's successfully scheduled online, she will DOWNLOAD an appointment letter from the website.

5. have her PRINT OUT the appointment letter.

6. have her HAND CARRY the appointment letter into the medical appointment.

That's the short version. Hank_ has a very detailed list with links, on what to do .

You should find it, study it.
