There's only one person who claims that "he thought he saw" a gun. And that is the man who has fled the scene, fled from police the following day and the man that is held w/o bail and has now been charged with one count of first degree murder and three counts of attempted murder. No gun was actually in the car where this blowhard "thought he saw" one. He killed a teenager in cold blood because that teenager and his friends exercised their protected right to listen to music loudly. Andf he will spend the rest of his sorry life behind bars where he belongs.

Yes if someone is pointing a weapon at you and firing projectiles into your head, I think it's past the point of, I wonder what his intent is.

What if it was a kid with an eraser gun? Or someone approaching you with a water pistol that looked like a real gun in the dark? You could be approached from behind, shot in the head with a nerf gun, paintball pistol etc, so you turn and fire, even if it was a kid messing around.

There's no IF in this case. The trigger happy blowhard will spend the rest of his life behind bars. Good. One more "law abiding gun owner" off the streets. Just read the other day that the other "law abiding gun owner" in my neighborhood is getting what he deserves for killing a veteran in front of his 8 year old daughter. Stand your ground didn't work for him - because this was never a defense but rather a cold blooded kill. Same for Z. He'll be a guest in the state's facilities. These SOBs all ought to be locked up for good. Then the streets will be safer.

Hard to say. If it was from behind and I am not hurt, I probably know It was a Nerf gun. A paint ball gets in a gray area. You come up behind me in the dark, pop with a paint gun, you may get died.

You asked should a kid die for a stereo. I said if he pointed a gun. I did not say those kids did nor do I think they did. Did they at aggressively. Probably. . Did he feel threatened. Yes. Should he have shot them.... NO If I was in that situation and felt threatened, I may have drawn the weapon and tried to retreat but would not have fired unless they pulled a gun.

Of course going up to a car and asking them to turn the music down was stupid, .

No offense at all. No one ever knows for sure what they will do when rounds start flying. They teach you that in basic 101.

B, If they started acting aggressive I would try to retreat, I doubt I would pull until that was no longer an option. I do think i would shoot if I was trying to retreat and they kept advancing.

This was a cold kill by a trigger happy "law abiding gun owner" who is now held without bail and will be tried for and convicted of one count of first degree murder and three counts of attempted murder and who luckily will spend the rest of his useless life behind bars. We're all better off now that this once law abiding gun owner is off the streets forever. Problem is that there are millions more of these type of ticking time bombs out there.

Okay, so you understand that there was no gun in the car that was occupied by the teenagers and thus agree with me that the blowhard committed cold blooded murder. You could just say that rather than working on some hypothetical tangent that you yourself don't even take seriously. A once law abiding lawful gun owner turned into a cold blooded killer over loud music coming out of a car. That's what little it takes to make these time bombs go off. Now, I'd rather have fewer of these time bombs on the street - naturally, we'd all be safer if that was the case.
