Hi all,

I have been trying to track my case status. I had my interview and bio, 10 weeks ago. I had to resubmit outdated fingerprint police check. My query is , how can one do a case status check , with the USCIS website, if

my case number does not follow the required format. ? My case number begins 2013OC....., the required case number with the USCIS check, has 3 capital letters as a beginning.

thanks all , a great website.

What kind of visa are you applying for?

The number you gave looks like a visa application number. The USCIS website won't show a visa application status.

Edit: looks like a diversity visa application. I have requested your question be transferred to the appropriate forum

I don't know much about the DV, but I would suggest either contacting the consulate via email, or call the Department of State.
