They asked for another copy of i864, then a court copy of memorandum of conviction and photos with case number on the back, all these had been sent to them already , only thing that we forgot to do was put case number on rear of photos. All else they requested we just resent again.

I guess they stall for time in my opinion. !!!

My lawyer warned me they would do that if everything wasn't perfect. How many times have you had to resend stuff? What did they want to see with your affidavit of support? Why was that requested twice?

Our Lawyer sent in all documents to them :) , however they requested i864 again. then more photos and a copy of my memorandum of conviction that happened 13 yrs ago.

I have no idea why i - 864 was requested twice , however our attorney said he resent the same one !!!

so up to yet we have had 3 checklists !!!

one for i-864. one for memorandum of conviction and one for more photos.

Hope your attorney does it all correctly as we also have hired an attorney and still got those checklists !!!.

Anyway we are waiting to hear this week if we now have CC. :)

Nope.. I'm still waiting for my NOA2 :(

IR1/CR1 Visa - We are using a lawyer!

Embassy: Montreal, Canada

USCIS

22 Jan 2013 -- packageSent
31 Jan 2013 -- NOA1 from NBC

6 Mar 2013 -- I130 transferred to Orlando local field office (which started the whole nightmare)

Mar 2013 to October 2013 no one would tell us where our case was or what was happening. I suspected the whole time it was just sitting in a corner somewhere in the Orlando field office. I was pretty much right.

October 2013 - get congressman involved. Congressman asks USCIS repeatedly about our case but they won't even tell them anything.

31 Jan 2014- finally get NOA2!!!! (we think the nightmare is over!)

NVC

Our case was not sent from the Orlando field office as it should have been. The nightmare continues. We kept calling NVC and asking if they received our case, and they always said "NO" and that we had to wait 90 business days for it to be received. We called USCIS during this time and they kept telling us it had been sent. After the 90 days of agonizing frustration, NVC then started telling us we had to wait 120 business days. I got our congressman involved again, and they told the congressman it was sitting at the Orlando office this whole time (just as I thought it was!).

22 Apr 2014 -- NVC received
16 May 2014 -- NVC case number assigned
24 May 2014 -- AoS and IV bills paid

28 May 2014 -- Sent AoS and IV Packages

6 June 2014 -- documents scanned

18 July 2014 -- false checklist from NVC

21 July 2014 -- Case complete

28 July 2014 -- receive case complete email from NV

30 July 2014 -- interview booked! September 11 here I come!

Embassy
04 Sept 2014 -- Medical
11 Sept 2014 -- Interview - APPROVED!!!!
15 Sept 2014 -- Package arrived at Loomis location!!!

**03 Oct 2014 -- POE!! **

I NOW LIVE IN OCALA, FL!!!!

If you January filers are still waiting on an NOA2 you can file a service request as you are officially beyond processing times! Call the 800#, get transferred to a tier 2, and tell them you need a service request because you're beyond processing times, and that should, in theory, get your case done quicker.

If I were you, I'd also be contacting the ombudman. (I will be shortly.)

3/25/2006 - Got Married

3/20/2013 - I130 Priority Date

if only it were that simple... :(

We have done so many service requests, infopasses, Congressman intervention, etc etc.. and nothing works. Still waiting for NOA2. Every time I read these crazy posts on here of cases where it took years just to get the NOA2.. I have this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach because I feel that's going to be us. It's almost a year now for pete's sake.
