Hey guys, I am an April 2013 filers who is sick of the wait, I understand what each of you are going through. The wait is a horrific heartache. I suggest we all contact the USCIS Ombudsman Liaison simultaneoulsy at: OLUInquiries@dhs.gov

I just sent the following to the Ombudsman. Be sure to read through and change how long my petition has been pending to match yours. I will post this letter in the Feb, Mar filers for them to send similar letter and we should all submit at the same time. Perhaps they will pay attention if we fill the mailbox with this.

============================================================

Subject: Assistance with I-130 Petition at the USCIS National Benefits Center

Dear OLU,

The purpose of this email is to inquire about an I-130 petition I filed at the USCIS National Benefits Center (NBC) in Lee’s Summit Missouri to reunite with my wife.

The receipt number: MSCxxxxxxxxxx

This petition has been pending for over 5 months (USCIS processing goal according to its website) as of September 3 2013 and I have yet to be notified by the NBC on a decision.

I have called the USCIS toll-free number multiple times to inquire about the status of my petition and was on those occasions able to talk to various Tier 2 Officers who provided conflicting information about the processing time – some said 5 months, others 6 months, and so on….

Some petitioners whose priority date is after mine have received a decision from NBC and others prior to mine are still waiting. It seems as if petitions are RANDOMLY processed.

USCIS, in order to satisfy its customers should STANDARDIZE the process for FAIRNESS as every family is equally important and provide CONSISTENT information upon customer's request or inquiry.

The wait is tedious and I seek your attention into my case with NBC.

Regards

Your name
Your Address

Phone: (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Today we get checklist - NVC want more information on i-864. also they have emailed it to me using my name before my marriage to my USC husband.

Now i am all confused again . What a mess. We have an attorney in USA doing all this for us - What a waste of money - they have failed to do the job correctly !!!!

Now i dare say they are going to justify their faults of not doing the forms correctly.

What a day !!!!!ranting33va.gif

I am still waiting for my NOA2. Last information was that it was being transferred yet again to a different field office. So, our application has just been transferred around, without anyone actually ever looking at it. I feel beyond hopeless at this point. 8 months of waiting for the NOA2.

IR1/CR1 Visa - We are using a lawyer!

Embassy: Montreal, Canada

USCIS

22 Jan 2013 -- packageSent
31 Jan 2013 -- NOA1 from NBC

6 Mar 2013 -- I130 transferred to Orlando local field office (which started the whole nightmare)

Mar 2013 to October 2013 no one would tell us where our case was or what was happening. I suspected the whole time it was just sitting in a corner somewhere in the Orlando field office. I was pretty much right.

October 2013 - get congressman involved. Congressman asks USCIS repeatedly about our case but they won't even tell them anything.

31 Jan 2014- finally get NOA2!!!! (we think the nightmare is over!)

NVC

Our case was not sent from the Orlando field office as it should have been. The nightmare continues. We kept calling NVC and asking if they received our case, and they always said "NO" and that we had to wait 90 business days for it to be received. We called USCIS during this time and they kept telling us it had been sent. After the 90 days of agonizing frustration, NVC then started telling us we had to wait 120 business days. I got our congressman involved again, and they told the congressman it was sitting at the Orlando office this whole time (just as I thought it was!).

22 Apr 2014 -- NVC received
16 May 2014 -- NVC case number assigned
24 May 2014 -- AoS and IV bills paid

28 May 2014 -- Sent AoS and IV Packages

6 June 2014 -- documents scanned

18 July 2014 -- false checklist from NVC

21 July 2014 -- Case complete

28 July 2014 -- receive case complete email from NV

30 July 2014 -- interview booked! September 11 here I come!

Embassy
04 Sept 2014 -- Medical
11 Sept 2014 -- Interview - APPROVED!!!!
15 Sept 2014 -- Package arrived at Loomis location!!!

**03 Oct 2014 -- POE!! **

I NOW LIVE IN OCALA, FL!!!!

Don't be so sad, your not alone in that, we are a lot of people like you in the same boat. For the ones who are outside waiting we just have to try to relax, enjoy our families here, try to keep busy. I know waiting is the harder part, but someday this will change. Nothing last forever, and soon we will be reunited with you loved ones.

For the ones who are there, well is not your fault that this is so slow. We are dong the right thing in the right way, so someday we will get our reward.

Hang in there!!!

:)

Can you fill in your timeline and let us all know when you filed, it helps a lot

thanks

Filled my timeline in if this will help any of you.

My husband rang USCIS 3 times a week if that may help any of you.

Also because they hadn't looked at our file at NVC before sept 1st we then had to do the new process of the ds260.

Well they received our checklist yesterday but back to a 20/30 business day wait again for them to review it, i do pray they don't send out another checklist as it has been know.

Good Luck all of you . Let us keep each other in prayers for this process to end asap.

Have a great day .

I'm so sorry, but anyone already saw the update in the process times for the I-130?

I'm about to vomit, they are showing 16 months!!!

I try so hard to remain positive but man, this is insane, how do the dare to treat us like that?
