Wanted to jump on here with you guys since I am a January I-130 filier as well. Mine was received January 22nd and was sent to NBC ...Missouri, I think? I have heard nothing since then. It just states it is still in "initial review" at this point. So, I sit here and patiently wait and try to make sense out of what everyone says about waiting times. Some people say they are processing just the August petitions now, but then I see others seem to be getting somewhere that filed this month..... I just try not to drive myself bonkers trying to figure it all out right now.

Nov 27, 2013 ~ POE Atlanta....Then flew to Illinois....Picked my Hubby up at the Airport!!!

I didn't received any reply to my mail till date, but today my wife informed me that our petition is been approved and hard copy of the NOA2 is on the way. goofy.gif

I've also checked on USCIS site and the case status is been changed to "Post Decision Activity"... dancin5hr.gif

My wife had a telephonic conversation with the USCIS lady official, and she said now Indian Backlog for I-130 Petitions is getting processed quicker then before, so good news for my Indian friends!

So, despite the officer telling me 60-90 days at the local office... Our casefile showed as post-decision activity on 05/01/13 (16 days after info-pass). We are on to NVC! Hopefully more will show soon!

Hello everyone! I hope your petitions are processing well. My wife is VN and I am a US Citizen. I have to call the national service center to get any update to our status. Our case is not entered in the automated system. I received the NOA1 on 25 Jan 13. I called for a status update 45 days later so they had to answer my request. At that time I was told that the packet had no issues and was sent to Missouri. I suppose that's the National Benefits Center since our case number starts with MSC. I was also told that processing was estimated at 6 mos and that the next thing I should get is a call for setting up the interview at the consulate. Today I called and had to request a call back due to a 70min hold time. The customer service rep did call me close to that time but could not inform me of the status other than that they are being told to tell customers the process now takes 9 months. Yeppie:( The customer service rep did offer to have the case officer send me an update by mail. That is now expected around 23 May 13. Oh hum:( I hope you are better informed with less anxiety.

I talked to Immigration Office today and my case has been transferred to local field office as of March 15. I booked an appointment via Info Pass. Can someone please tell me what questions to ask or if we can request them in anyway to make process faster?

Any suggestions please...
