Sorry, don't mean to be a newbie!

I know "pink" means pass, with a Visa on the way. However, my fiance had her interview yesterday, and passed. There was no pink slip, just a white one with instructions on the visa process. She then proceeded to pay for the Visa courier service, and was told by EMS that the Visa will be arriving within 2 weeks.

So is this "pink" thing just a figure of speech on this board?

Again sorry for being a newbie!

In the past, they used to give a pink slip when approved. This is no longer done now that the visa is delivered. The pink was a slip that said approved and to return to pickup the visa.
