touched ?

Could ypu please explain to me what does it mean " being touched" by the immigration? I hope my question is not silly.. lol

It means a date change showing in your case status online with USCIS.

The date can change but the message oftentimes does not.

What the touches signify can be anything.

Personally I think they indicate someone moved one pile of files over for a fresh box of doughnuts.

but damn! if you dont get excited when you see the date change after a few days/weeks/months of nothing happeneing even if they just spill their coffee on it while reaching for a fresh doughnut!

get touched means,USCIS touched your application,for exemple your AOS got touched it means they worked on it that day they did somthing stamped somthing or did somthing.
