This alien registration number changed is nothing if you don't get rfe that needs A number.

I receive rfe (passport photo) that needs A number at the back. What I put is my old A number.

It's late when I saw the new A number in the rfe letter. This A number gave me confusion.

I hope my petition will not get denied because of this. And I hope they send new naturalization

Certificate if they changed my A number.

Well sounds like ur talking about something a bit different we are talking about the A number that will be assigned to our foreign fiance for when he or she comes to live in the states. Not the old one they have (most foreign fiances never had an A number) All fiances will be assigned one so thAT they can come and live in america and AOS.

I am talking about the message that we receive in the status updates. Like this (On January 10, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).

I think this is not for fiance or spouse because I see 1 guy post that his alien registration(the petitioner) is different in his NOA2.

Yes it is for your fiance or spouse.Its alll over VJ for years. EVERYONE who is an immigrant to the US needs an A number.

First of all, Im a natural BORN citizen so Ive never had an A number and I never will. So its not referring to petitioners of course. Also u can conlude that cuz they would NEVER change a persons A number who is already a citizen(VERY rare).

Uscis will assign your fiance or husband who is foreign, an A number. That is like his ID number so he can come to the us. it is assigned before his NOA2.

That post your referring to seems like one of the very rare things and it could be for so many things. But if you look or ask around everyone get their fiance or spouses A number before NOA2.

Hello guys,

The military expedite was sent and was approved i got my noa2 hardcopy on the 15TH of this month. Our case got to the Uscis on the 17th of january.....im soo excited

wish that my case would be approved too, but my fiance is not in the military, but he do projects for the army so i hope it will be faster approval too

The military expedite was approved,my k1 was approved on the 8th febuary and had the NOA2 hardcopy on the 15th. Im now waiting for the biggest thus appointment date. I cant wait to be with the person i love.

Thanks so much Cassie for getting to the bottom of this! I just sent my paperwork in and my NOA1 is dated June 10 and I got this updated message on June 17. I do believe in God doing good miraculous things but not when it comes to immigration issues....

I am wondering if anyone knows if your fiancé has recently been granted a visitor visa if this will have any impact on the speed of the K1. I'm thinking it might make it quicker, but again, I don't want to set unrealistic expectations here.

Any advice on that would be greatly appreciated! Good luck everyone!
