Hello--

I am in the process of filing for my k-3 so that I can bring my nicaraguan husband to the states. I have a couple of questions for all of you visa journey pros who have done this before-- after the papers get approved and he is in the states, will immigration come and visit us at our house, or is the only face to face contact with have with immigration at the interview? Are there other random visit or things we should beprepared for after approval?

Thanks so much for your help with this journey,

-Rachel

I filed for my ex husband under the 245i years ago. He was also from Nicaragua. In my experience the answer is no. The interview is it. If you have been married for less than 2 years he will be given a conditional greencard for which he has to apply for those conditions to be removed before the 2 years are up. If during the 2 year conditional period you guys were to divorce his residency will be taken away. Hope this helped.
