I Got my Green Card in the POST!!

Well our story really is taking a strange turn for the better? First we get approved at our AOS interview and no waiting on a name check, we really half expected to be stuck on that list :blink: !.. Then we get the I-551 stamp in the passport :huh: ! Next the Welcome Notice arrives a week later :o . Then a few days later a job interview which leads to a job!.. :wacko:

Two weeks after the approval… the Green (White :lol: ) Card is here! I have to admit, after so much waiting and filling out forms and paying fees it’s all over! Well for now at least :dance: .. I cant believe I just got it in the mail like 30 minutes ago! :dance::hehe::dance: Now is as good a time as any to hit the drink! :lol::hehe:

Thanks to all who have helped, we couldn’t have done it without all the advice, support and encouragement we’ve received from the people here! :D

REMOVING CONDITIONS

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

That's too much luck for one person, even if they are Irish.

I’m almost annoyed it wasn’t any harder at the end? It was almost too perfect :blink: , like the system for once worked right at the end! :wacko:

I’m sure it can’t be much longer now before you get ejected out the other side of the immigration process and get to forget the worries of immigration for a wee while at least :yes: ! If the glove dosent fit.. they must acquit!... :hehe:

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
