Over the years there's been plenty I've disagreed with Charles on. But on this, he's the real deal. At least IMO anyways. This is not just about the (D) after Obama's name.

ever heard of Abdulrahman al-Awlaki? he was a 16 year old american citizen born in denver - and killed in a drone strike.

See, Chuck, this is the stuff where we agree. I'd go further than you saying that it really doesn't matter whether he was 16 or 60 years old. He was entitled to due process and "boom" simply doesn't constitute due process. The other thing is that these drones create a hell of a lot more terrorists than they will ever eliminate. It's a short term gain but I suspect that there will be long term pain for this.
