Bring family in US after K1 Visa has been approved?

Let's say for example my K1 Visa was approved and wished to bring my entire family (immediate only, Parents and siblings) to witness our wedding (yes the big day) but we're worrying as most tourist visa applications among Filipinos citizen are being denied because of some prejudices (over staying, working illegally, etc) which is sad.

Would there be any other way to increase their hope of having their Visas be approved? Or any other type of tourist visas for them? I just wished it was simple or civil wedding so bringing my family won't be a big deal, but ugh, it's going to be a real wedding, a grand wedding!! (you know, church then reception) as his family want it that way. Come to think of it, I'm the the bride but my family isn't included in the wedding photos how depressing would that be :-(

Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

PS.

My fiance is from the US Navy currently stationed in Japan & so after the entire marriage process, we will move to Japan. So there's no point that my family will be over staying or etc. Do you think his role would help?

Tourist visa is only them and US Embassy. No one can guarantee approval. Neither letters from your or your explanations will help in the embassy decision as 99.9% no one will even look at that.

The only thing is to try and hope they will get it.

Aw thank you for answering! I already expected the answers would be those. Hehe, just trying to see if I have same scenario who had been in this dilemma. I'll just keep praying then and be on a positive note. Happy New year!

Your family would need to show reason to not want to stay in USA. Examples are if they have great paying careers I.e Doctors etc. Along with property or businesses in the Philippines. All this will need to be proven at application process and interview. Or if they have traveled to other countries on Visas and never over stayed makes them appear to be less of a risk.

Other option is ditch the K-1 visa, get married elsewhere (obvious choice will be Phillipines) and then apply for CR-1.

or keep the k1. do a smaller wedding in US. Then a Vow renewal in Phil. The Vow Renewal can be the big one that everyone comes to.

The applicant(s) needs to show strong ties to the home country e.g. high paying jobs, properties or business to prove that applicant(s) has no reason to stay in the US and has the compelling reason to return.

You could try but it will be a long shot, unless you have the qualifying factors already then you're just wasting money.

Good luck!

If it is not too late in the process, you can change to a Cr1. It is cheaper, probably easier than my K1 process and the family can all see the wedding in person without any Visa hassles. Only an idea though.

Thank you so much for all your input!! I already thought of processing a CR1 Visa and just get married here, it's also least expensive. However, my fiance doesn't like doing much more paperwork than K1 Visa do and it will be difficult for him since he's in the Navy as well. I guess he wants to buy time instead of paperworks lol.

Also, when I told her mother about getting married here in the Philippines, she disagreed and said her parents (his grandparents) will be devastated. How cool is that HAHA.

Anyways, I'm already bursting out here afraid that my fiance is also lurking around LOL! I really thank you for all the input and yes profile and strong Philippine bond are what make chances higher.

I just update you guys!!
