You can have your passport in 2 weeks if you expedite. Or go in person to a passport gency and get it the same day.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Hang in there! Try not too worry too much (although I know that's hard). I'm sure it will all work out. sad.png

Thanx h2opolo. Honestly I think she put my case up for supervisor approval. The fact that she took my signatures on the form and the pics means she intends to approve it but since my case is not that straightforward she wants her sups approval.

Hi iamwhatim80..is ur i751 pending while n400?

You'll probably be traveling on 10W at one point but I live in Santa Monica so traveling on 10E (as opposed to 10W) gets jammed all the time after 7AM.. I knew when I had to leave to beat the traffic (Left at 6AM even though I had 9:45AM interview time). 7AM is when the traffic starts to build up on 10E.. 10W is even worst from Downtown LA to Westside cause most people live in Downtown Los Angeles but works in west side. But since your interview location is in Downtown Los Angeles (and not westside) you might have some luck there... but I wouldn't risk it cause THERE WILL BE LINES on the outside of the building... plan accordingly and if your interview is indeed in downtown los angeles (300 N. Los Angeles St) then parking is in 334 East Temple Street, $8 flat rate.

Alright folks I had my interview today. Unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience. After waiting for 3 long hours, I was finally called in. She was a serious officer and got straight to business. I was sweared in and then she took the reading and writing test. Then the history test. All was fine till now. Then she started reviewing my application line by line. I got green card through marriage which ended in divorce. I got remarried after 2 years. She verified my current marriage certificate. She asked me why I did not petition my current wife. I told her my Green card has a restriction of 5 years ( if green card was obtained thru marriage to US citizen ) to petition and that restriction recently expired last month and I am hoping to sponsor as soon as i get my citizenship. Then she verified all my history, every line of the form. Then she verified all my 5 year tax returns. Then she told me to sign and print the name on the N 400. She also made me sign the 2 pics that I had originally sent.

I was waiting for the good news and she then dropped the bomb. Because of your previous history, your case needs more investigation. She then hands over the N 652 with Decision cannot be made yet and then escorted me out. She said they have 120 days to make the decision and to wait for the answer in the mail.

At that moment my heart sank and i came back home. I just dont understand why she did not approve. I honestly dont like suspense in life. They made me wait long time at the time of I-751 and also now. All my papers are straight and nothing goofy in my application. I am having my fingers crossed. I hope to receive good news under a month.

I got a letter for a re-interview with the same officer on July 25th. She has also requested extra documents that i failed to provide on the 1st interview like my current spouse's first marriage and divorce certificate. She also requested my first marriage's and divorce certificate which she did see on the interview day. She also requested 5 years tax returns which she did see on the interview day as well. Guess she wants copies of them as I failed to provide her on the interview day.

Honestly i am blaming myself for not having taken the copies of these documents.
