I think there is an issue with this format. First you get inline for the interview and then you get the Interview letter. Am I correct ?

my status has changed to this "On April 22, 2013, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was scheduled for interview. You will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview"

does anyone know usually take how long until I receive the interview letter ? waiting like this make me so nervous.. :crying:

1/09/2009 NOA1 Petitioner received
4/30/2009 NOA2 Petitioner received (approved in 105 days from NOA1 3.5months)
6/08/2009 Packet 3 Petitioner received
6/20/2009 Packet 4 Petitioner received, mail everything from above forms & I-134 plus other doc as required for beneficiary
7/23/2009 Interview @ 7am, Interview passed- visa pick up July 31st

Can someone update me please, I passed my interview at the Milwaukee field office on April 24th, it was very short and IO was SUPER friendly. Today I got the mail below stating..........

Oath Ceremony

On April 26, 2013, we scheduled you for your oath ceremony and sent a notice providing the date, time, and location. If you move prior to the scheduled ceremony, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Naturalization Applicants: you will receive your certificate at your oath ceremony. You can expect to be scheduled for an oath ceremony within 45 days of receiving your recommended approval. Many offices schedule approved applicants for the oath ceremony on the same day as the day of the interview. Please check the local office profile page on our website to determine if the office where you will be interviewed schedules same day oath ceremonies.

Good luck to people still waiting on interview, congrats to those who have interview date and passed and congratultions to those waiting on oath ceremony and those who are already done!!!

question on N-445, Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony questionnaire.

Do I need to do the questionnaire and sign at the Ceremony or I can answer and sign it at home?

You can answer and sign it at home..but you may want to make sure you don't get a ticket otherwise you have to change your answers. What I did was fill it out the night before and signed it. It helps because there will be a lot of people at your ceremony so when you file in you just have hand it off before you are seated so being prepared does help. Also if you are filing for a passport that same day have everything ready and signed.

Can someone update me please, I passed my interview at the Milwaukee field office on April 24th, it was very short and IO was SUPER friendly. Today I got the mail below stating..........

Oath Ceremony

On April 26, 2013, we scheduled you for your oath ceremony and sent a notice providing the date, time, and location. If you move prior to the scheduled ceremony, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Naturalization Applicants: you will receive your certificate at your oath ceremony. You can expect to be scheduled for an oath ceremony within 45 days of receiving your recommended approval. Many offices schedule approved applicants for the oath ceremony on the same day as the day of the interview. Please check the local office profile page on our website to determine if the office where you will be interviewed schedules same day oath ceremonies.

Good luck to people still waiting on interview, congrats to those who have interview date and passed and congratultions to those waiting on oath ceremony and those who are already done!!!

Once you get your official Oath date I or someone else can update your timeline. Congratulations on passing your interview as well as getting your oath ceremony scheduled so fast! good.gif

On April 18 my status was changed saying notice for interview is mailed. I still didnt get it. Its week already.. What should I do??

I have had issues with not getting my mails from USCIS in the past, so whenever I get a notification that something has been sent I call them to get the date immediately.

For example, even though I got notification that my interview appointment had been mailed on March 6, I did not get my notice until April 9 for an interview on the 16th. I was able to prepare and make travel plans because I called USCIS to ask them for the date of the interview. The best way to get to a level 2 officer that can tell you the date is to tell them you plan to travel, you have not recieved your approintment letter, and you want to make sure you are not out during your interview date. In my case, this was true and even though I did not have the notice, at least I knew the date and time which gave me ample time to prepare. Besides, I live in one of those remote locations so I had to buy my tickets to the interview center too.

Also, if days before your interview you have still not recieved your letter, you can just call them back and a level 2 officer can fax it to you. I never got my biometrics appointment letter, got a copy faxed to me and that is what I used.

4.5 hours at the passport office for minutes of attention. At least we are done now! We had ticket #24, arrived well before they opened and stullwaited that long!
