N-400 January 2013 Filers

Hey folks, so I'm trying to put my list together since I will be travelling and won't be back home until after my interview. Here is what I've gathered so far, please let me know what you think / or if i'm missing anything. My list may be an exhaustive but I'm trying to minimize any delays especially since my field office is a 5 hour drive.

I am applying based on 5 years of being a LPR.

1) Interview appointment Letter

2) Passport (old and new)

3) Driver's license

4) Tax return for the last 5 years

-I was only able to order the ones for 2009 - 2011, the irs don't have one for 2012 yet

5) Divorce petition

6) Divorce decree

7) Marriage certificate

8) Social security card

9) Traffic tickets proof of payment / resolution

10) Driving record from DMV

11) Passport photograph (2 colored copies)

12) W2s and proof of employement

13) Permanent residence card

14) Application form (filled and signed)

15) A pen and a pencil

Am I missing anything?

Looks good... Take your green card as well (they asked to see my husbands) and any updated list of travel outside the us since filing the application... Good luck!

I think there is an issue with this format. First you get inline for the interview and then you get the Interview letter. Am I correct ?

Looks like San Francisco is moving along at a nice clip. I will be an April filer in SF! Keep it up USCIS SF folks...! These folks have mostly been rude to me but I'll take rude and efficient any day :lol: :lol:

As I was looking at the last updated table I saw my InLineInt field missing/dropped, so I went to do some digging around since it's a weekend and will probably take me less than 2 minutes to find the culprit who was messing up our table. Of course I just can't tell you who it is without explaining how I got there.

According to post #404 I updated my InLineInt. In post #406 user by the name of poups68 posted his/her update along with the January 2013 applicants table that reflected his/her update but neglected to copy the table from the last person who updated the table which was me #404 but instead used the table from post #392 by Keigwyn, which Keigwyn was correct at that time since lala_xoxo posted about her Interview update on post #393 followed by Yeehaw fingerprint/InLineInt on post # 39.

With that being said, I see few things that was missing or dropped since my last updated table (#404) and that is as follows:

1. lala_xoxo Interview was missing

2. Yeehaa Fingerprint and InLineInt was missing

The next post that used the table was post #409 by FlipgalRN who used poups68 table and other people thought that FlipgalRN's table was up-to-date and therefore that's how we got to the problem we see right now.

Post #421 by lala_xoxo reaffirm that her update was dropped (due to poups68 error) and added her Interview date back.

PLEASE USE THE TABLE BELOW FROM HERE ON OUT AS THIS ONE REFLECTS THE MOST ACCURATE ONE.

I am using the last updated table which is post #434 and just added my InLineInt back up and Yeehaa's fingerprint and InLineInt back up and also fixed the format. (Since lala_xoxo already added hers back)

1. DO NOT DELETE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

2. Please make sure you are using Rich Text Editor as your message setting.

3. Click "Reply" on the most recent/updated posting version of this list.

San Francisco is definitely ahead of the game when it comes to processing N-400 applications. A friend went for her interview last month and had her oath taking a week after her interview. Now THAT is efficient!! Crossing my fingers mine goes just as smoothly! Good luck with your N-400. Just a side note..do an early bio it definitely helps move things along a little faster! (It did for my husband and I anyway lol) biggrin.gif

02/13/2013 Received 2nd NOA (Interview scheduled)
02/15/2013 Received yellow letter from USCIS to bring DL
03/18/2013 N-400 Interview

4/4/2013. : Oath! Now a U.S. citizen!

I received yellow letter saying bring passport in interview on 03/13/13. But I havent received my fingerprint letter yet. Isnt it weird?? If someone have some knowledge abt this kind situation plz suggest me??? Thanks

If your last fingerprints were done less than 1 year ago, they might just use those. Have yoy called uscis?

Thank you for lookin in my case menina. Yes I called them...and officer requested another fingerprint letter month ago but I dont have it yet. And my last fp was done within year time too. I will call them again next week.

May be because my i751 is pe.ding?? Menina do you know anyone with this situation??

I am sorry I mean to say my fp was not done within year..
