Michelle's CR-1 visa was approved today. I attended her interview in Manila. The first interview with the Filipino consul was all questions for Michelle and I didn't speak at all during that interview. I was surprised however that the US consul that conducted the second interview spent more time talking to me than Michelle. The young lady only asked Michelle one question and that was only directed at her after talking to me. After giving Michelle the mandatory pamphlet on domestic abuse she told Michelle congratulations your visa has been approved and it was off to the next window to arrange for delivery.

Hopefully we'll be home in a week or two. As a special treat I booked us a room at the brand new 4-Star Ramada Manila Central Hotel in Binondo near Divisoria so we can shop until we drop before we leave Manila. I want to make sure Michelle has all the comforts of home she is used to since it may take her time to find US products that suit her needs.
