i can think of a few cases where it's desirable over concealed carry.

I wonder what this bear thinks about open carry? Because I for d@mn sure not going to mess around with concealing my weapon when I'm in bear country which is pretty much this entire town and it's surroundings.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Roaming the neighborhood looking for stray dogs to shoot demonstrates the same sick, depraved mind as buying an attack dog, and turning it loose on the neighborhood.

Either link to where I ever said I drive around looking for stray dogs to shoot or go beat another drum.

That is as good as an admission of guilt to me.

Your about a post or two away from being lumped in with the likes of evylyn, teddy b, and gegel. Think about that for a minute or two before you reply.

Or Kip is one of those people who drives everywhere and never walks or "roams".

meh, he's trying to take me to task when I admitted on another thread that Iv'e helped thin out the dog population around here. These Eskimo's are about the last people who should own a dog yet they always have a ####### load of them. The dogs start to run around in packs and they get nasty mean. The dog catcher here is about worthless, the wife was worried about stepping outside seeing how a few of them came into our yard and growled at her, a few kids around here were chased down and attacked so I got the sh*ts of it and did some thinning out along with the neighbor. My yard and driveway are now a dog free zone.

Most rural areas have problems with coyotes in the lower 48, so its pretty common. Thats what happens when man gets rid of the upper predators.

Dogs is good food, and some breeds have some good warm hides. I hope you didn't waste any of that meat, or that fur.

Coyote's I can relate with...we had lots of them back home, wolves I can relate with...we have them here...it's the dogs I can't relate with. They get these dogs and the dogs just run around and breed like rats making more dogs. The bulldogs here are the worst of the lot...American bulldogs and Pitt bulls but they have interbred so much it's hard to make out what some of these mutts are. They get that pack mentality and they start chasing down kids, other dogs, etc... to the point it's a pure danger. I had a few of these eskimo's come over and complain about their dog getting whacked (I leave them right where I shoot em) and I told them to go call the cops and see if they give a sh*t because I know I sure don't. That ends it right there.

Does he like riding in the back of your pick up and guarding your cooler of beer?

Damn. He does like riding in the back of the truck. If had anything to guard, we would lick them to death. The Shatzu, now he means biz

you're right, you did not mention truck. that was my mistake.

i guess that will teach me to not talk to one of my technicians and type at the same time. I was instructing him to put a network board into his truck for his trip to deer park

now as for your rant ... especially the accusations ... stuff it sideways

fwiw:

so i'm also supposed to own a truck?

heck i live in the south (TX no less), and do not even own a truck (nor my wife). i have one of those fun to drive clean burn 40+mpg tdi diesel sportwagons ...

oh and now that you've brought this up ..... what the heck are you worked-up about regarding chrysler 300's?

My rant was tongue in cheek. you really did not get the Chrysler 300 analogy ?? Stupid Stereotype 1 Redneck Four Whell drive.. Stupid Stereotype 2= Black man Chrysler 300.

I can't really blame you too much for that, if they are feral act aggressive and pose a threat. However if my gentle lab accidentally got out and wandered into a neighbors yard and he plugged her just because it was his yard, he might die. I love that dog that much. Maybe not kill but I would beat him half to death.

Of course now if it happened all the time and h gave repeated complaints.
