Exactly. Why would anyone have a problem with taking away someone's gun when they decide to be stupid by carrying it while intoxicated? This is a no brainer. Punish the criminals and take away their guns.

I do not drink alcohol at all. Ever. Never have. I have never been intoxicated in my entire life. I had plenty to do with shooting/hunting/fishing/women.

You can get drunk off your ####### and still own guns without penalty. But, the moment you carry one in your possession while intoxicated is the moment you've crossed the line from responsible gun owner to dangerous homicidal maniac.

Hmm I had a gun in my glove compartment New Years eve, and I am pretty sure I was over the limit. Oddly enough no one got died.

I got about drunk one night at a campsite. Several axes laying around, yet I killed no one ... why ?

No sir. Our logic is that if you pass laws to take away guns, then only people that obey laws will not have guns. If you give every one a gun, of course gun crime will go up. That is why the NRA backed instant background checks, and supports measures to keep people with mental issues away from having access to guns,

I saw a guy in a Grocery Store that borders an unsavory part of town, open carrying. I thought dude you are just asking to start some #######. I am all for him having the gun, he jsut does not need to open carry. I wonder who the first person is they will pop, if they are casing the joint.

Open carry is a right. great. It is however a bad tactical decision in most cases.
