I was kidding about how I felt about the French .. Mostly. The majority of my father's family lived in Quebec. Depending on where you went, people ranged from either the nicest people on the planet to the rudest. And most of them can't drive. But it's a beautiful province.

No sir. Our logic is that if you pass laws to take away guns, then only people that obey laws will not have guns. If you give every one a gun, of course gun crime will go up. That is why the NRA backed instant background checks, and supports measures to keep people with mental issues away from having access to guns,

And yet the fact that people without access to legally obtain their own gun (s) have, via the massive proliferation of guns owned legally, access to guns...
