Here we go again :(

Here we go again another immigration mess...

What you would think would be so simple to do for government officials seems to be impossible for them to do..

After months and months of waiting for the noa2 finally got approved then moved rather quickly to NVC then to London got packet 3 and Steve sent it back in but only sent the checklist, so we waited and emailed and called to find out what the hold up was for this and finally they said they only received the checklist and not the forms ds-156 etc.

So we mailed all the forms but not the checklist for they said they had that....Now he gets a letter on Saturday from London saying we have all the forms but not the checklist and we cant process the forms with out the checklist and he should find it online and mail it out again....

Am I wrong in thinking we have a case file and everything that comes in should go to that file?

So he now is mailing another checklist, and my fear is that he sends the checklist and once again it wont be processed due to the ds-156 etc wont be with it..... I had him call London and ask if we should send the entire packet 3 but they said no just the checklist........I'm so frustrated why is it so damn difficult to just do what needs to be done and be done with it? Uggggggggg

Jeez. What a mess.

I'm thinking like you. I'd probably send the whole deal over again in one packet. Did you make copies? If so you could just copy them again, white-out the siggy's and re-sign in live ink.

Is it just me (who hasn't been around that long so hasn't seen much) or does the London Embassy seem to be really going down hill with processing paperwork and therefore causing uneccesary delays at the moment?

I mailed my things separately but they did advise that they would not give interview date until the checklist was returned.
