Happy New Year Everyone! (L) I checked New Delhi interview times, and we are not listed for an interview for January. My fiance' have not received packet 3. Should we continue to wait, or should we just send the DS-230, to the Embassy? I know if we would have sent the form right away, we could have been schedule for January. When I call the State Dept. They say, we don't have an interview yet, then i say..., i don't have packet 3 yet...ugh!! I know this isn't the way to start off the New Year, but i want my baby here.. As we all do... Be Bless (F)

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Did you get the NOA2 yet? Call the NVC to confirm that your case has been sent to the consulate also ask them for the case #. You need the case # to file anything with the embassy/consulate

Hello my friend.. I have the embassy case number. It left NVC on the 7th electronically. They said that it was mailed out on the 17th.. i am just wondering what should i do. we need to get an interview date by feb. but i thank you for your reply. Have a great day! :)(F)

did you recieved any updates from the. My case is also to be done at New delhi consulate and it left NVC on 17 dec 2012. We have been waiting for the packet 3*4 ever since and emailed the consulate. All they tell us is to wait. Did you sent the consulate anything or any document or forms or are just waiting too.. I hope i make it to fev interview schedule too..

Good morning.... yes we have received our packet #4 and interview letter. Email support_@ indiatraveldocs.com. verify this email I just woke up. Attach your DS230 and applicant statement. Informed them of how long you have been waiting. Also use blue dart(DHL) to send the hard copy. My fiance interview is march5th and medical is feb 19th. So hurry. Oh I forgot... make a profile on the india visa website, you know the one that you pay for the visa by demand draft. When I get to work I will email you the link.. good luck.. let me know the outcome. Have a nice day!

Thank you for the information. What did you have to do for Packet 3? Did you receive it electronically or in mail, and do you have to reply to it via email also?

And again, Packet 4 was also a hard copy?

I missed this reply. :) i finally got my NOA2 last Friday. New delhi seems to be a little slower than Mumbai Embassy. I'm reading so much about people not getting their packet 3 nd 4 and all this confusion.

So, when I get my case number and NVC tells me that my case has been forwarded to the Embassy, should I expect a packet 3 in the mail? Or should I make a profile on ustraveldocs, and I can download packet 3 forms from there? Then mail it to the embassy ? I'm a little confused here. Any help would be much appreciated. Dont want to waste time in getting my interview date.

NOA1: July 18th, 2012

Good morning... it takes one week for your number. Go to the traveldocs website, and email the DS230 AND APPLICANT STATEMENT. They will then send you packet 4. It may take a week. I was a harasser so.... they probably was tired of me. I was unable to pay for visa. Its best to pay the 240 on the day of the interview. Good luck.
