I had Bio-metrics appointment on Feb-8-2012. Walked in early in the same ASC location today (01/22/2012), and done in 7 and half minutes.

The appointment is in Metairie, LA. We tried to go today but traffic was very bad & it took us an hour to get there & they were closed by the time we got there. Will have to try another day.

Jan 7: Checks cashed

Feb 4: 1st biometrics appointment- attempted 2 unsuccessful early walk-ins. 2nd time told that hubby needed an unexpired passport. Rescheduled biometrics

Mar 14: biometrics completed. EAD card production ordered same day

Mar 19: ready for interview scheduling

Hey all, submitted my AOS on Sat, it arrived today, I'm so nervous I have messed something up, I guess we will see, I have adjusted from VWP (nervous) and the stamp on my passport says leave by 28 Jan!!!!!! (Even more nervous). I hope it get processed before the 28th or I could be in trouble! Ahhhhh. Anyway, this is my first post, just wanted to get involved in the community of people playing the waiting game. Good luck everyone.

12/23/12 - Married!

01/20/13 - Sent AOS package to Chicago office

01/22/13 - AOS received

01/28/13 - received emails and texts of NOA's

01/31/13 - received official NOA's in the mail.

02/05/13 - received biometrics appointment letter

02/06/13 - biometrics completed via walk in, easy 10 mins max.

02/18/13 - case status changed to 'ready for interview scheduling'

02/21/13 - email received stating interview on the 22nd March!

03/14/13 - EAD in production!

03/22/13 - Interview, approved on the spot, green card ordered.

Second walk-in attempt unsuccessful. I was told on the phone that the office closed at 4. We got there at 3:30 & they told us they closed at 3:30. They said they wouldn't do a walk-in anyway, that it is by appointment only. I guess we will have to wait until Feb 4 :(

I think there are two separate Jan 2013 filers forums.

So we filed on 1/07/2013

NOA 1/10/2013

Bio metrics appointment for next week on Wednesday 1/30/2013

We did not attempt an early walk-in because i read in other threads that Elizabeth NJ is not tolerant of early walk-ins unless it is a real emergency, but also our appointment letter came about 10 days ago so we are pretty close to the appointment, there was no need to rush anything.

07/18/2013: Biometrics Appointment in Elizabeth NJ

09/23/2013: Interview date and Oath Ceremony - APPROVED

09/27/2013: Applied for first U.S. Passport at local USPS

Hello fellow January filers!

I think there are two separate Jan 2013 filers forums.

The other Jan 2013 AOS forum is for the family-based adjustments (from K1... this one is for all other visas :).

Any updates yet? The last time our case was touched was on Jan 19 due to the name change. My Bio appointment would have been this coming Friday... I really hope to get an update soon. Really want to drive and work soon :yes:

Day 08 - 01/10/2013 received NOAs for all four forms

Day 12 - 01/14/2013 received appointment letter for biometrics on 02/01/2013 but completed biometrics the same day

Day 27 - 01/29/2013 received email that our case is ready to be scheduled for an Interview :)

Day 29 - 01/31/2013 received an email that our Interview will be on March 6 2013!!!!!!!!!

Day 33 - 02/04/2013 received hardcopy of interview letter

Day 62 - 03/05/2013 EAD/AP approved

Day 63 - 03/06/2013 scheduled interview appointment - APPROVED

Day 66 - 03/09/2013 I130 & I485 Approval noitces arrived in the mail

Day 70 - 03/13/2013 EAD/ AP combo card arrives in the mail

Day 71 - 03/14/2013 Greencard arrives yay!!!
