Hi, Congratulations on your interview date notice! Now it is time to get ready.

When you get the interview letter in the mail, there will be a list of recommended documents to bring with you. Some you may have already filed and others are proof of bona fide marriage. There are tons of forums that adress how to properly prepare for the interview. And finally to answer your question, definitely take pictures with you, but not just pictures.

OK, great thank you, I must admit I thought I would just need to take originals of the docs I submitted. I will eagerly wait for the letter and start preparing everything. I hope everything is going well with yours, It looks like your interview is the day before mine!

12/23/12 - Married!

01/20/13 - Sent AOS package to Chicago office

01/22/13 - AOS received

01/28/13 - received emails and texts of NOA's

01/31/13 - received official NOA's in the mail.

02/05/13 - received biometrics appointment letter

02/06/13 - biometrics completed via walk in, easy 10 mins max.

02/18/13 - case status changed to 'ready for interview scheduling'

02/21/13 - email received stating interview on the 22nd March!

03/14/13 - EAD in production!

03/22/13 - Interview, approved on the spot, green card ordered.

Day (12) 2013-01-18 Received texts with case numbers for all three submissions

Day (16) 2013-01-22 Received hard copies ---NOA 1

Day (33) 2013-02-08 Received Biometric letter for Feb. 25, 2013

Day (39) 2013-02-16 Early biometric completed

Day (59) 2013-03-06 Interview scheduled for April 10,2013

Day (61) 2013-03-08 received update: EAD card production

Two weeks after biomentrics is when people see to get it so you are almost there

Exactly 3 months from the day we got married till the day I had both SSN and GREENCARD in hand !

Day 1 01/22/2013 AOS package sent

Day 8 01/28/2013 NOA 1 received

Day 15 02/04/2013Biometrics appt letter for 2/25/2013

Day 16 02/05/2013 Succesful walk in biometrics 20 days early

Day 25 02/14/2013 USCIS status changed to Testing and Interview ready for interview scheduling

Day 31 02/20/2013 Email notification that my interview is scheduled for March 21st

Day 57 03/19/2013 EAD/AP card ordered

Day 59 03/21/2013 Interview at 10.30 am Seattle Approved

Day 67 03/29/ 2013 Greencard Arrived . Applied for SSN

Day 68 03/30/2013 EAD arrived

Day 74 04/03/2013 SSN card arrived

Eligible for ROC December 21st 2014

Hi everyone,

I filed my AOS on 31st January, changing from an O-1 visa to Green Card. A couple of questions:

1. I received duplicate receipts for all my forms - is that usual?

2. Today my case status for I-131 was changed to say it has been approved - great! However, for I-765, it says they have noted a change of address. What I don't understand is that I have not submitted a change of address, or done anything where that information would have gotten to them. Any ideas as to why that happened and if it will affect the receipt of my EAD/AP card?

Hey, im planning to go home to see my family on the 16th of April. But am unsure if I should book flights yet. I applied for authorization to travel when I submitted my AOS. Its says 3 month wait! should I risk leaving the country? Ahhh!!

12/23/12 - Married!

01/20/13 - Sent AOS package to Chicago office

01/22/13 - AOS received

Well today was my turn for biometrics after my wife did hers two weeks ago. Hopefully this will be all we need to do to sort this out. Looking forward to an interview date now.

F-1 ---> AOS

12-22-2012 - Wedding day

12-31-2012 - Obtained certified copy of marriage license from court house

01-04-2013 - Sent AOS and EAD package at 5:34pm

01-05-2013 - Arrived at Chicago Lockbox at 11:27 am but no authorized recipient available. Notice left.

01-06-2013 - USCIS Received package at 10:08 pm

01-08-2013 - Received Acceptance texts and emails from USCIS at 10:46 pm

01-09-2013 - Checks cashed

01-12-2013 - Received hard copies of NOA's

01-14-2013 - Received Biometrics appointment letter

01-31-2013 - Biometrics successfully completed

02-11-2013 - Additional biometrics requested

02-22-2013 - Biometrics successfully completed

03-08-2013 - Received EAD card

Nothing yet. But i really think we will begin to see EAD approvals starting next week.

We got tons of paperwork, but other than that we didnt do much. Just hope ill get approved on the same day for a new life with my hubby where i xan finally work n drive... Home for almost 2.5 months now, really sucks :(

we are preparing still, we have all the documents ready, i am working on making a 20 page print out of our main pics together just as an extra to the million pics. but everything else we already have. We quizz each other once a week lol, after almost 10 years together, it is interesting how some small details can clip by easily. :)
