You are right-except, from my view if the martin case had been black on white, black on black, or white on white, then it would have been a blip on the screen. we would have waited on all the facts to come out, and it would not have been such a big deal.

Black Side- TM was a sweet little 13 year old angel that never bothered anyone, who was staying with his dad. He skipped to the store for candy and was blown away by a Klansman, with a long record for walking thru a white suburb, and the Grand Poo Boo Klansman, who is the police chief let him go.

. White Version- God fearing super all American, who volunted his free time to keep his Community safe, and rescued little puppies from trees, was minding his own bussines, when attacked by 6'5 245 lb NFL specimen, meth head, who had kill whitey tattoed on his arm. While being beaten and on the verge of death, he miraculously pulled his weapon he carried as a last resort, and shot him, trying to only wing him and only to save his own life.

Both are parodies and extreme examples of a little bit of truth. The truth is both of them were in the wrong, and we need to sit back and let the court figure it out. Blacks IMHO need to do a little better job, Our President was wrong to insert himself in that problem as well as the Proffesor who got arrested problem. As you freely admitted he did it because they are black and he is black. Piss poor reason. That is racist.

True for the first paragraph, it wouldn't have been the firestorm it is now, but flip it for a second. What would have happend if you changed the color, made Martin white and Zimmerman black. Zimmerman would be sitting in a jail cell right now, or make Martin white, he wouldn't have called 911 in the first place. Being black was all that was needed for him to call the cops. 22 break ins had been done in the neighborhood, most were black, so it makes sense to think that Martin was guilty based on that line of thought. But like I said before most mass shootings are white males, nobody is profiling them. If a white man goes into a gun shop and wants to buy 10 guns, do you think the reaction would be the same if it was a Muslim, black, or spanish person?

Now you say both were wrong, let me give you my opinion. I am still trying to see what Martin did wrong. He went to the store to buy some candy and ice tea, where is the fault in this? Now if I stretch this, I could say that he should have called 911 and waited for them to show up, but where is the logic in that? First he is being chased by a grown man, who never let his intentions be known so he felt he was in danger. Second, black people(not drug dealers, gang members, or thugs) in general have an initial mistrust of law enforcement. Now I am smart enough to know that most of the time police are just trying to do their job, but I know first hand what it's like when you get pulled over for some BS(when they are going the complete opposite direction and see you, bust a U turn just to pull you over and run a check on everyone in your car, plus ask questions like where are the drugs, or do you have a gun on you). Had Zimmerman sat back and let law enforcement do their job, maybe this kid would still be alive today. But his biggest mistake was being black walking home from the store, Zimmerman could have done alot differently but chose his course of action because he had a gun on him and knew what the outcome would be.

To expound on what you said, it's not racist when you can relate to something that affects you and your people. White people don't have this problem, type in police brutality or harassment. It's mostly black/brown people by a landslide. I get that Gates Jr should have been more civil with the police officer, but it goes to show you that no matter how accomplished you are, it will always come down to skin color. And I'll bet Obama, and everyone else that chimed in knew EXACTLY what it's like to be in that situation. I know, it makes my skin crawl when I am judged for color or my skin, not my actions.

Hating people based on sexual orientation or skin color does not come naturally.

You are incorrect, and I know that no matter how many people tell you this, you won't believe it. But you are.

Rarely will I throw the weight of my education out there; because quite frankly I think it's a tacky thing to do, but for you I'll make an exception. I have years of course study, field study, and plenty of individuals that I have come into contact with; including children, that prove you 100% wrong.

You are completely ignoring the mind of the individual and basing your ideas on the fact that every human being is constructed through life based on his/her surroundings. That's no where near the case at all. You can't teach love any more than you can teach hate. Ultimately it's an emotion, a part of the human psyche that lives and breathes within one person.

People that are 'taught to hate' as you like to put it are nothing than misinformed/ignorant and completely different from someone who actually 'hates' others. Those who are 'taught' don't actually 'hate' in the real worse sense unless they truly have that emotion torwards the object that they 'hate.' You can mimic the actions of others and pretend to 'hate' in that sense as an individual, but you don't actually 'hate' that person/group necessarily.

I knew you'd bring up your education, because I've seen you do it a few times. It is indeed tacky and it doesn't impress me, nor does it make me think you're correct.

I've never in my life met a child who hated a black kid for being black. I've met children who ask "Why is that person's skin a different color than mine?" but that's where it ends. A noticed difference, a rational explanation.

A parent or adult can either say "Because some people are born that way, but they're just like us!" or "Because they aren't as good as we are" or something equally hateful and ignorant. The way a question like that gets answered is what shapes a child's thoughts and behaviors.

I don't know any children that come out and say "I hate black people because they're gross" ... because that doesn't come naturally. They're taught that.

the violence against 'women' act is a sexist law. There's no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Any law the singles out a certain 'group' is discriminatory in nature.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

-Assault is assault

-Murder is murder

-Theft is theft

It doesn't matter what your reason was, who it was against, etc.. If you want the punishment for something to be 10 years, make it 10 years across the board. Stop trying to treat things differently than what they are.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Actually it was an extremely closed minded question, but I don't expect you to understand that.

Quick points. By both wrong I meant both extreme stereotypes.

I think the truth will come out and it will show TM was probably up to something and did strike the first blow agaisnt GZ. I think it will also show that GZ was a loose canon, who was itching to use his authority as block captain, and the whole incident would not have happned if he had not pursued.

I think if there had been 22 break in's , and almost all by a young black male, and very few young black males lived there, then profiling a strange acting young black male is logic. Who you going to be looking for the Maytag man ?

As for Obama knowing what he feels like. Sorry hard for me to accept the CIC of the most powerful nation in the world and who got the same exact white vote Bill Clinton did has suffered any great harm from Racism.

I know you're joking but that's the mind frame of most people that have issues with people of color. But as a black man, I adonish my own people for acting like buffoons, and giving in to such foolish behavior. We have such a negative image, it's like trying to nail Jello to a wall when you try to rise above it. Every black child who has decent parents gets the talk, you know you have 2 strikes against you from birth(black, male or female), don't give them a third. Some listen , most don't.

Well said! However, those that conduct themselves in a civil manner conducive to avoiding the negative image, get smeared with a different label. God forbid if you utilize English to communicate rather than Ebonics or excessive slang.

Up to something like what? Who goes and buys candy and iced tea before committing burglary? Seems like an odd thing to do if that was his plan.

You mention "strange acting" ... George Zimmerman never mentioned HOW he was acting strange. Just that he was. What does that even mean? He was walking home from a store, with a hoodie on, and talking on the phone. Those are the facts. Zimmerman has yet to tell anyone what was so strange about this.

He was a young black male in a hoodie, therefore by definition he was up to something.

White male logic. Don't try to fight it.

I said I did not know, that I think it will all come out in the trial. There were reports that he had been looking in windows going in back yards. Maybe rue maybe not. let's let the facts come out and then reach a verdict.
