Has anyone had an issue checking in for a flight online when using Advanced Parole?

My husband & I are flying back to the US from Denmark tomorrow. He is using his AP combo card to re-enter, which means he does not fill out an ESTA application/renewal. When trying to check in online for our flight, the system would not allow him to complete the process online because he isn't registered through ESTA. It says he must complete his check in at the airport.

This is the first time he's using AP. Has anyone else experienced this? Did you have any problems when you tried to board your flight and/or check in at the airport? Wondering if we should bring any other information with us aside from his passport & combo card. His card states at the bottom that it serves as Advanced Parole.

AP is an odd thing, so I highly doubt that the online check in is going to work for that. Show up at the airport, check-in in person, and it should be no problem. He only needs the passport and combo card.

(FWIW, I imagine somewhere on your tickboxes you have said that he is a visitor which is not true, but I doubt there is a category for AP, usually it's visa holder or LPR, which he is neither).

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
