Hi VJ Member's,

I'm on K-1 Visa and applied for EAD yesterday. Can anyone suggest me good sites to work from home/freelance or any job consultants in Atlanta for freelance work. I tried various suvey sites also but it is really hard to earn money from all these site, actually no one pays in real. Similarly i tried to bid on various freelancing sites like freelancer.com, vworker.com, elance.com etc. but not succeeded. I would be thankful to all of you, if anyone can help me on this.

Thanks to all for reading my post.

It'll be hard to get a job without proof you can work legally, and EAD can take a couple of months to get.

Try craigslist.

Apart from craigslist anyone know any good websites/employment agencies for temp/permanent work.

I tried CareerBuilder, indeed.com etc so far but no response out of 100 applications.

Depends largely on where you are located.

www.indeed.com is a very good one as it collates from most of the other widely used sites.

There are agencies which deal with general jobs and agencies which deal with specialized positions. What kind of position are you looking for?

You may consider to add more skills, you may have to learn more things ( HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, JQuery ). It would be PLUS if you can learn PHP, and can have a good hand with WordPress CMS.

In such competition market, companies may not hire to someone if he just knows Photoshop. They are looking for a guy who knows more than Photoshop.

Of course! Graphic Field has a great market! But you must have to be very creative with Graphics, then you can create the stuff, and sell it online ( graphicriver.net )- Great Marketplace to sell graphics stuff.
