EAD and AOS

I recently sent my AOS and EAD application. Can anyone tell me for how long EAD is valid once it is approved? I am concerned that I will start a job and then have to stop working if EAD expires before my AOS is approved. How does all that work?

EAD is valid for 1 year from the date on the card.... if you have not had your AOS interview and been approved by the end of the 1 year you can file for another EAD and continue to work.....

Yes EAD card is good for 1 year, and it is recommended to renew it at least 3 months before it expires to avoid working on an expired EAD.
