Notice of approval

I received my notice of approval last OCT. but no packet 3 yet. Been given my MNL number by email sent manila my DS 230 & DS 2001 at IVManilaAttachments@state.gov Don't know if thy received the forms for i can schedule my interview. been trying to email Manila embassy but no response. do i need to wait for my packet 3 before i can schedule my interview? What do you guys think i should do? I am applying for a IR-1 visa

you know that was my stress before.3months after we apply for k-1 visa we rcv.our NOA2 we kept on waiting for those people who always mention pocket3?there is no such thing as pocket3 coz there is none.once u know your MNL case number proceed to pay for your visa and schedule your medical and interview.i do not want u to suffer for what i had experiece waited for 2 months waiting for pocket3?until i get depress why i haven't got that paocket3?so,i started asking help here in VJ im lucky coz i met some good members who advice me that im late move now pay your visa and schedule your interview.2 months has wasted...go move and start now.i think the pocket 3 they always mention is the yellow envelop that we crve.along with our visa!good luck.

You are a K-1 the OP is IR/CR-1 totally different process.

And NO packet 3 is not the "DO NOT OPEN" envelope that arrives with the visa.

shouldn't you be scheduling online with the Manila IV Unit?

Seance i filled for IR-1/CR-1 doing DCF I think i am to schedule online with the Manila IV Unit but not sure because IV has not contacted me how to proceed from here. Do thy contact me or thats a hope they will? were do i go from here?

i say see if you can schedule online with Manila IV.

do that, nowish, let us know the result.

Manila IV has shifted much, this concept of 'you waiting to hear from them' after I-130 approval is not current - they are waiting for you to schedule the interview.

Just received a email from the embassy ready for interview now!!!! praise the LORD

you have to print them out sign the forms then scan documents back into the conputer.
