I just don't understand the reasoning that I"m May 4th and someone from June gets approved first? How do they explain that? Since they claim they haven't touched my file yet? Can't be the background is taking longer as an excuse!

I don't get it either. Sorry. I didn't realize you were May! :( I can't stand hearing about cases that get overlooked! I hope as soon as the processing dates change to June 4th or later you get your case taken care of!!! I hope it's sooner, but you've waited WAY too long!!

hhh it took you 53 days to get an NO2 at NBC, but we have Vermont filers that are more than 200 days still waiting!! how is that fair! Good luck on the rest of your Journey.

Its not even the case of being overlooked, they are just telling the senators office they are still backlogged. I wish I could understand how it works, but I probably never will :( Today I read a long article in our town newspaper (i live in the same town of VSC) they are apparantly building another service center in our town because they've outgrown where they are, and will have hired 200 more employees to handle the petitions. I'm going to copy the article and post it on here tomorrow for everyone to read. Thanks for your support!

Thank you. That would be great if they could get another 200 employees. We need them to speed things up finally! Though, I doubt it'll help us much. We will probably all be approved by the time everything is built and everyone is hired.

Yeah!! I am keeping my fingers crossed to get approved soon, I have the feeling that it could be any day! :blush:

Has anyone called lately to see what the actual date is they are working on? I know it's only beena week or two since we found out they were working on June 1. Just wondering. Can't stand the silence I guess.

My husband called in today and he got a very nice representative who explained to him that they are almost finishing May applications, that of course there are cases still under review, checking background etc, but they are already working as well in a few early June cases. He said that since our NOA1 is June4th we should get an answer around next week or 2 weeks later :thumbs:

This kinda cheers me up (even though I think I will be able to get some proper sleep again and to be happy till the day we get approved,lol) and I think is great that VSC is working a little faster at processing our cases (compared to last couple of months that because of holidays,storm or whatever). YAY

Just wanted to share this with you guys!

Might not be a bad idea if Vermont is only approving one week per month at this point. It won't cost you anything extra but postage. I have a feeling they'll approve you before the K3 is issued, though. But it couldn't hurt you.

If they pick up, you probably won't get a chance to utilize it.

Hi!!

the number is the National Customer Service Center (NCSC): 1-800-375-5283.

It‘s a call center, so every time you call it‘s very likely than a different person will assist you. My husband has been calling every 2 weeks aprox, since November 2012, he spoke to female and male representatives, in a couple of times I remember he said that they had some accent, sometimes they sound like young people, some others are older, some reps assisted him quickly and sound like they know all the information by heart, and some others take a few ninutes to search for the information....you know what I mean?.

I don‘t know what the menu exactly says but I know that he follows the prompts and eventually he is asked for our #, enters our receipt # and the automatic system repeats the info we see on the website, and then i think it asks you if you want to repeat the information, or if you want to speak with a representative. I am just guessing, he just told me that about the recorded voice....when he calls usually is from work and he just calls me after

that to tell me what happened.

But I think this thread might be helpful!! We read it some time before he had to call the first time
