it takes time. they're working as fast as they can.

I thought this picture was funny! We'll be patient. We'll have to be; otherwise risk insanity. Funny part was that when I was filing I was expecting to be in the US permanently by last November.

You need to find out what's the hold up for! I am looking at the processing times and it seems that All MAY petitions have been processed. contact your senator/governor...

My senator is on it, but keep in mind I'm not past normal processing time of 30 days yet. If they are stating may 26 as processing, I'm still within their supposed limit ughhh! Once they reach June 4th I'm considered out of normal limit!

I received my NOA1 on July 20th. My timeline keeps saying I should get a decision between the 13th of January and the 18th of January. I'm trying to be optimistic, but have read so many horror stories about how long people have been waiting. I am praying! I heard this part can take 5-7 months, "sigh". To be honest I think it's luck when it comes to the time process, it's a very random system. Good luck June/July filers!

Although I am not part of the VSC bunch...I want to wish you all good luck and hope that you get some response soon. I am bracing myself for the 7 month wait at the moment. Good luck to all !!!

Oh and Happy New Years one day later ;)

June 4th VSC here, my husband has been calling them since we reached the 5 months mark, and it has been always the same answer "Your case is still within normal processing times". :(

We filed an e-request after the 6 months, we got the confirmation #, my husband called in and the representative said that we would get an answer soon since we have an e-request XXXX confirmation number, AND...a few days later they sent an email stating that the e-request is not necessary since our case it's within normal processing times. :bonk:

So, we are stuck at the same point....we don't know WHEN we are gonna hear some news about our case, but I keep praying for us to hear something soon!! This friday we gonna be 7 MONTHS waiting for someone to look to our case. But there's nothing we can do, just pray and keep waiting. :innocent:

If it's 06.02.2012 the actual date they are processing, it seems like we can get our approval VERY SOON!! (I wanna be optimistic!!)

You are Welcome. I believe that is not fair at all to see others getting approved in matter of 2 months when we have to wait more than 6 months ( if lucky)...we need to stop complaining and move on to some action

I am a July 12th filer and we have been patiently waiting. I went ahead and contacted my Congressman in Massachusetts. They have been very responsive and attentive; however, they cannot do much either until it is beyond processing times at which point they will send another letter from the Congressman's office. Still a waiting game but it is sooo frustrating to see the California filers and also filers that were sent to local offices in August.

I'm min the list. We've been waiting for almost 7 months now and still no good news. We called and inquired and called again and asked more. They haven't processed our petition yet. Back when we were still under the 5 months wait, we contacted a senator. He told us he couldn't do much because we were under the 5 months. We contacted him again around December (6 months), my husband wrote him a letter or email I don't remember saying more or less "I'm in the army and both me and my wife have had our background checked already less than a year ago. We'd like to know why it is taking so long. Can you do anything to help us? This is getting very very hard for us and we even have problem paying bills because of the double rent/bills/expenses which means it could make me get in trouble with my work. Thanks and hurry up dude". He was very kind and sent a letter. I don't know when we'll hear good news. I am so frustrated and feel so bad. All the sadness is gone, all the anger is gone... the only thing left is hysteria

I tried to upload an image but I guess I am horrible at this stuff, I'll write it down

"Dean Mr.

Thanks you for your recent inquiry to my office. I have been informed by the nature of your concerns and I will do my best to assist you.

Tran Nguyen, a Senate Aide in my Chicago office, assist me in matters as these and will contact the Vermont Service Center to make an inquiry. I trust that this matter will receive prompt and complete consideration.

You will be contacted as soon as a response has been received. We ask that you allow at least thirty (30) to sixty (60) days for a response. However, if you have additional information or concerns relative to this matter, please feel free to contact my office.

Very truly yours

Dude"

I wonder what they use for guidelines to decide what is within normal processing times? At the time I submitted

and received my NOA1 (May 4th receipt date), it was 5 months processing estimated. However now, it obviously isn't 5

months , as of Jan 4 it will be 8 months , and when my senator's office called they stated they would be working on it

SOON ( i hate that word now) . Even now after 8 months its still considered within the normal processing time.I see on USCIS website its stating as of Oct they were on May 21.

Someone stated when they called that they were told they are up to June 1, so its safe to assume now that the normal

processing time can change according to their work load and how it changes month to month. Once they say they are

past June 4, I can then claim to be outside normal processing because it will be 30days past May 4th. Is this how the rest of you are understanding it also?:bonk:

While I am not on the list at top of this post, PD June 4th approved Dec. 28th, they are working on June petitions for IR1/CR1 petitions at VSC. But I don't think we will see any really soild movement until the end of next week due to the holidays and vacation time when there is a short week like this one.

Just my 2 cents. Best of luck everyone.

You can add our names to the list. We even have a service request in and nothing yet. I have a buddy on here who I informed about doing a service request. He called and got approved via telephone the very day for his Noa2. He just received his email on New Year's Eve or New Year's depending on if you're America or Philippines. Although I am so happy for him I am also a bit upset that I filed before him and still don't have mine. VSC is terrible... I often wonder if and when I get the approval notice if I will be overjoyed or have the attitude that...It's about D**N TIME!! Please pray for me.hahahahahaha!!!

Thank you for the wonderful blessing :-)
