hhh it took you 53 days to get an NO2 at NBC, but we have Vermont filers that are more than 200 days still waiting!! how is that fair! Good luck on the rest of your Journey.

Easy for you to say, it took 53 days for you to get approved. You should buy a lotto ticket or something with your luck

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

W&T here....NOA 1 July 16th. Well we've called the USCIS twice,but they gave us the usual ####### about still being "within" processing time" blah blah.

It's been 5 months 2 weeks. So we continue the wait & hope for the best. They mentioned waiting up to 7 months!!!! Even if ironically their website says 5.4 months (164 days). This is a very frustrating process,especially because August/Sept/October filers have already been approved as their cases were transferred to National Benefits Center.

All we can do is pray & hope for the best. God's timing is the best;that's what I keep telling myself.

June 11th. Called service center numerous times. They pretty much gave me the run around. First saying call back in a month, then 25 days, then they don't know when it'll be approved, finally the last 3-4 times that they are processing may 21 and have no given date! ;(

I"m a may filer, and still didn't hear anything. That would be may 4, meaning 8 months of waiting.

You need to find out what's the hold up for! I am looking at the processing times and it seems that All MAY petitions have been processed. contact your senator/governor...

Got to go to FL to visit my wife for Christmas! I can't wait till I can stay for good!

Passport Timeline (Submitted at USPS, Standard Processing, Standard Delivery, Locator number: 51) & SSA Update & Naturalization Certificate Receipt

 

03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.”

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

June 4th - been calling every other week since our "5 months" back in November. They give the same reason that it's still within normal processing time. Will be 7 months on Friday. We just have to wait until they get to us, even if they don't process first come first serve. And it's easy for people to say "just be patient" when they've been approved in 3 months or less. Our time is coming soon though, so we need to hang on together!
