You should inform NVC right away. Wait for NVC to send an immigrant visa fee invoice before sending payment.

You can either:

1) Update NVC that you have a child. You can do this when NVC sends you, your wife or your lawyer packet 3. If you got packet 3 before your case was forwarded to the Moroccan US consulate but after your baby was born then you contact NVC and let them know about your situation. They will instruct you on what to do so when you get packet 4 your child is included.

Or

2) Just wait until your case has been forwarded to US consulate and your wife's interview date has been scheduled. When your wife gets her 'interview letter' (packet 4) email the immigrant visa (IV) unit of the US consulate. In that email include the case number, your name, your wife's name and tell them that you had a baby and you want the baby be able to get an immigrant visa with its mother. They will then ask you for some information. At the end they will send (in email) a new interview letter with your baby's name on it so it can do a medical and be allowed to enter the consulate when your wife has her interview.

What is your priority date?

Since your priority date is so close then go with option 2. Do what I told you. When you are finished communicating with the consulate, they will email you a new interview letter with the wife's name + the baby's name. When you get that letter you print it and bring it to the medical and the consulate (along with the other documents they asked for).

I'm not sure what you're asking and I'm not 100% sure what to do. But from my understanding, anyone under 21 years of age does not need a DS-230 or I-864 form for themselves. The $230 you were told to pay is for the baby so that the consulate can process your son's/daughter's documents and print his/her visa. Just make sure your sponsor is above the poverty line (salary) now that a baby will be included.

So salary for:

husband + wife = $18, 912

husband + wife + baby = $23, 862

It goes up the more children or dependents the sponsor is responsible for

Hopefully if I'm wrong someone will correct me. Until then email (ivcasablanca@state.gov) the Casa Blanca consulate and ask them what to do or explain to them problems you are having.

thanks i appreciate your help thank u very very much realy u explain to me more than consulate

our consulate when we email them they ask for phone and call us ,they don t send us email with explanation

monday they called me to visit them for more information

when i visited consulate they ask me to fill ds 230 sighned part one and i864 for baby also should be signed and bring 230 dollard as a fee they don t ask to pay for i864.

thanks again for information realy i underestand now what should i do.

how much time for interview to be delayed until consulate add baby to petition probably more than one month?

Adding your baby won't delay you getting an interview date. So when you get that interview date email/call the embassy so they can give you a new interview letter with baby's + wife's name.

Did you already send in your documents to NVC or get packet 3 from NVC?
