ok so my husbands interview is jan 22 in Jordan and we originally file both petitions and both approved same time well we were told by both NVC and the embassy the K3 would be cancelled and the I130 would automatically get processed which the k3 never got cancelled was still processed anyways so my question is when he goes to his CR1 interview in a couple weeks and they see the K3 visa interview was missed and only because he got the notice package dec 17th and the interview was dec 3rd so even if we wanted to that route he missed it anyways will it be a prob we have contaced the NVC and embassy and have gotten no response from the embassy so not sure whats going on there and my other question they may ask my husband how many times I have been to Jordan well once but I lived there for almost a year and came home to have our baby due to veterans benefits so will it look odd that I have only been there once if I lived there for almost a year though and we have only been married a year and a half thanks any tips are appreciated

Sentences are your friend. :) Proper punctuation really helps everyone and makes it easier for them to help you. That said, what exactly are your questions? Also have you tried asking these questions in your regional forum? A great deal of the time we find out information that is relevant to the embassy or consulate in question when asking questions in our regional forum. The people there are more intimately acquainted with that particular embassy and can help more than perhaps another person can.

can use tilde or pipe character instead of period??

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Okay... am I getting this right? (I had to kinda figure out what you meant on the second question.... I apologize in advance if I understood you wrong.)

Q1) I am just asking if it will look suspicious that I have only visited Jordan once although the one time I did stay for almost a year?

a) I don't think it will look suspicious as many people can't visit their spouses once they're married. As long as you can show a genuine on-going relationship is continuing despite the physical separation.

Q2) Do we have to make sure the K3 visa is cancelled before going through with the CR1 visa interview? We have tried to cancel it via the embassy but haven't heard back. We only want to pursue the CR1/IR1 visa route now.

a) I am not sure on this one. Did he receive an interview date for the K3? Did he go? Has he recieved the interview date for the CR1? (or IR1 as it applies? I haven't checked to see which one he would be recieving sorry.)

Just to add: It's not an I-130 interview, it is a CR1 (or IR1) interview. The I-130 was simply the petition you sent to the USCIS to be allowed to have your spouse apply for a visa.

like i said it is not like i just visited him for a week i lived in jordan and worked there etc for almost a year and about the petitions like i stated the only reason we knew the k3 was still being processed was cause he received an interview package on dec 17th and the interview was scheduled dec 3rd and yes we have a cr1 interview scheduled its in a couple weeks jan 22nd like i said he received the other packet after the interview he wouldnt have attended it though as we wish to proceed with the cr1 but we have tried to notify the embassy and have gotten no response about why the k3 was still processed and with his interview in a couple weeks its so nerve racking we just want to be a family again i havent seen my husband in almost a year and we have a 7 month old son who he has not met yet and we are just trying to avoid any delays on our part when its in their hands it is out of our control i just dont want a delay that we could have avoided

The K3 is a non-issue. If they ask about it, he can give the same explanation you gave. Your visit with your spouse is considered as part of the totality of circumstances related to the bona fides of the relationship. On visit for nearly a year, looks great compared to two visits for a week each. Just make sure he's prepared for the interview.

If you have further questions, at least state them as questions and leave space between sentences if the period doesn't work. Most smart phones will place a period where it belongs if you tap the space bar twice. You don't need a period for a question. Use a ? question mark.
