Hi newbie, congrats for approval. Could u tell me wt did he do to stop u from getting green card. Did he letter to immigration to stop u. Thanks

Can I travel to India with valid green card and noa extension letter. Do I need visa or not. Please answer.

Extension letter extends the validity of the GC for one year so you can travel and work. That being said, some airlines have problems with their training and may not accept the expired GC and the extension letter. I would highly recommend you use a major international carrier that usually knows these things or call the airlines and verify that they understand and will accept the expired GC with the original extension letter. You will have problems with the airlines allowing you to board the plane for the return trip, not with CBP.

Just to be clear and nik pik a bit: you will travel TO India with your passport. You will return to the US with your passport AND GC. As a LPR you cannot get and do not need a visa.

Also, I tried to look for my case on uscis website by putting receipt number but it says ur case cannot be found. I also made account with them. It's telling me check the receipt number. Is it happened to anybody else too or how long they take to update their website.?.....

Use the receipt number from your biometrics appointment to check your case status.

I don't know if he did, but everything we had jointly he took my name off of, and took those that we had together. Then he filed for his divorce, I was so worried that they would not give me my 10yrs but they did.

To answer Shammiebaby question, I received e-mail from USCIS notifying me about the tracking number. I didn't see it in the e-mail, that's why I went to Case Status Page, and there it was.
