Out of curiosity - out of everyone who has so far received their approval:

1) how many of you had an interview at the AOS stage; and

2) how many of you have had children since arriving in the US?

I was really surprised that we didn't get an interview as we did not have one at the AOS stage. And I was wondering if the birth of our daughter lead to the easier and faster approval than I was expecting.

Thanks to everyone who replied :) Just my idle curiosity thinking out loud! I found it bizarre that one member got an RFE for not providing enough financial statements when we provided NO bank statements at all. We don't have a joint bank account so we left it out. But I wondered if our child over-rode all in terms of proof? Who knows with this process lol.

I don't feel he is offending anyone. He is just expressing his opinion.

In my opinion some people get RFEs just because it is part of the processes. Some people get them some people don't.

Also, there is probably a whole team approving these type of applications. Some officers are more picky than others.

It is stressful to be waiting and not knowing WTH is going on, but at least we get our green cards extended and we are able to work and continue our normal lives.
