Biometrics done today as per letter of appointment. Walked in, no-one waiting, filled in form, did fingerprints, signature, photo, walked out. Done and dusted in under 5 minutes. I've never been so impressed in my life lol. Now I guess we just sit and wait about 8 months! *sigh*

Yeah, I did biometrics today and it was fast. In and out in 15 minutes. My first biometrics took around an hour and a half of queuing.

Now I wait the decision.

Hi, Guys

I want to said that I never received my letter for the biometrics (30 days since they received my form). Yesterday was my 4th call to USCIS, The person told wait about 15 days for any solution, maybe they call me. I hope this doesn't delay my process. Today is the biometric appointment for my daughter.

I took my wife in earlier then the appointment date hoping we could get the Bio done early. Gave the fella a "we're going to be on vacation" story. He asked if we brought a copy of the itinerary. I said we didn't bring it. He then said next time,bring the proof and he'd do it for us since it was slow. Nobody in there besides us. Were went for some sushi buffet after that. Should of went straight home.

Hey everyone, I tried to check my "Current Case Status" on the USCIS website with my receipt number and it says my case cannot be found at this time. It's been two months since it was received! Is this normal? Thanks.

OK I found the issue - I was using the receipt number from my receipt notice, not the ASC appointment notice. I don't have that notice any more, is the only way to get my case number by calling them?

Update from THEBIGHASH:

After having not received the NOA-1 and Biometrics letters, I managed to get an I-551 stamp on 02/19 after scheduling an InfoSys appointment. The agent told me to wait for the Biometrics notice, but I waited and nothing came through. I called USCIS twice and on the second call the agent said the notice was mailed to me on 01/30 to go for biometrics on 02/19, but I explained that I haven't received such notice. She was also surprised that I was not told by the agent who stamped my I-551! Anyway, they resent me a biometrics notice on 03/19 and I'm scheduled for 04/05. Finally..........
