wow we are filling up Is sweet to see the old tickers in peoples signatures - it been a long journey and makes you remember the long road we had to go down to get to this point - last 2 years without having to deal with immigration hassles has been so nice - no microscope, no waiting, just enjoying to finally be with the person you love.

Ahhh gotta love Texas USPS - my parcel took over a week to get to VSC, according to tracking it took 3 days to get out of Texas!! Hopeless!! However the check was cashed yesterday so I'm expecting NOA1 before the end of this week - yay

Still haven't gotten my wife's biographic appointment letter. Why in the hell am I having to wait extra days between each step?

Crazymazy, I know exactly what you meant by not having to deal with immigration sh*t for two years. They need to modernize the process. We should be able to file everything online and they need to automate a lot of the steps. Things would get done a lot quicker.

Crazymazy, I know exactly what you meant by not having to deal with immigration sh*t for two years. They need to modernize the process. We should be able to file everything online and they need to automate a lot of the steps. Things would get done a lot quicker.

Although I agree with you on modernizing the process, my recent experience dealing with my country's immigration authorities reminded me that USCIS is still far better than we give them them credit for.

For example, to renew my national ID card, I had to provide the authorities with the left thumb print on the application form. The person I borrowed the stamp pad from, was laughing (rightly so) at the fact that I need to take my thumb print to place it on an application form. I was initially glad to find that I can track the progress of the process that takes 3 months but then was utterly disappointed when they told me that the online tracking will work 2 months after I file my application.

So yes, I think USCIS is still far better than majority of immigration authorities across the globe

Walk-in Biometrics also Successful! Got the letter today, appointment was for 3 weeks from now at an inconvenient time so I decided to try my luck.
