Hello , Quick Update

Seems like we got the NOA dated 01/16/2013 and the stamp was on the 17th , took 5 days for the US Post to deliver in Florida today Jan 22th

Got the one year extension , simple looking document , I can understand why some Airlines might refuse boarding coming back to US , but it clearly states " good for travel "

Now wait for the apointments

Quick question please. my driver's license expires on Thursday 01/24/2013 which is the expiration date on my 2-year GC. I received the NOA today (thank God) and I was so relieved. Would I be able to renew my license for another year? I have to drive to work :)

Exactly 5 months!!! No Interview. No RFE.

Hello , Quick Update

Seems like we got the NOA dated 01/16/2013 and the stamp was on the 17th , took 5 days for the US Post to deliver in Florida today Jan 22th

Got the one year extension , simple looking document , I can understand why some Airlines might refuse boarding coming back to US , but it clearly states " good for travel "

Now wait for the apointments

I'm still waiting for them to even cash my check. I got the express mail return receipt. It says the delivery was on the 17th. A lie. Delivery was on the 16th. I don't ####### is going on.

My package was delivered on the 16th and my check was not cashed yet. I called the bank today (the 22nd) and they told me that it usually takes 3 days, and given Monday was a holiday, the check will probably be cashed tomorrow.

I do, however, receive the NOA today.

10/2001: arrived as a F1 student (college) in NC
01/2003: met my now-husband at school
08/2004: moved to Louisiana to continue study

AOS: I-130 and I-485
06/2010: got married in NC
01/2011: interview and approved

ROC: I-751
01/14/2013: Package Sent
06/12/2013: got approved!!!

06/14/2013: card and letter arrived!!!

Exactly 5 months!!! No Interview. No RFE.

Strongest Evidence? My 8-year relationship and 3-year marriage to my husband.

If it does not show commitment, then I don't know what does...

Naturalization: N-400

06/23/2014: Check Cashed

06/27/2014: Received NOA1 (Letter dated 06/20)

07/07/2014: Walk-in Bio (Appt date 07/18)

07/09/2014: In-Line for Interview

Strange. NOA1 before check being cashed. I'm gonna keep my eyes open tomorrow to see if I get mew NOA1 before check cashing. Update your timeline bud.

I remember when was waiting for the the other stages of this stuff - they would actually send the check to the bank and you could see a copy of it on line.

This time is like automatic debit - there is no check copy linked to the withdrawal on-line at my bank site. Plus the NOA number does not work on the usic site - think i need bio letter (??) for the number.

I hate when there is a holiday thrown in there :)

My family and wife were supposed to be on their flight from Kuwait to NYC. Their flights got delayed 12 hours. #######. I won't get my family today. Have to wait until tomorrow. #######. I just hope there is no more delay.
